Hope Recordings is a Bristol, UK based record label, established in 1998 by Leon Alexander and Steve Satterthwaite. [1]
The label is run by Leon Alexander, with English house music DJ and producer Nick Warren in control of its A&R. [2] It is home to progressive house and breaks artists such as Starecase, Jaytech, Matt Rowan, and Parallel Sound. Well-known electronic music artists such as Max Graham, Timo Maas, James Holden, Hybrid, Starecase and Way Out West (Nick Warren is part of this progressive house duo) have worked with Hope Recordings in the past. Warren is head of Hope's A&R. The label regularly holds dance music events around the world - in the UK, Miami and Ibiza. [3]
Hope Recordings reached their one hundredth release in 2011, which came in the form of a rare single from Nick Warren, entitled "Buenos Aires". [4]
Island Records is a multinational record label owned by Universal Music Group. Alexander Paul Coe, known professionally as Sasha, is a Welsh DJ and record producer. He is best known for his live events and electronic music as a solo artist, as well as his collaborations with British DJ John Digweed as Sasha & John Digweed. He was voted as World No. 1 DJ in 2000 in a poll conducted by DJ Magazine. He is a four-time International Dance Music Awards winner, four-time DJ Awards winner and Grammy Award nominee.
Nicholas Bracegirdle, known professionally as Chicane, is an English musician, composer, songwriter, and record producer. Among his works are singles "Offshore", an Ibiza trance anthem included in many compilations in both chill-out and dance versions; "Saltwater", which featured vocals by Clannad member Máire Brennan, and the UK number-one hit "Don't Give Up", featuring vocals by Bryan Adams, which also became a top ten hit on singles charts across Europe and Australia.
Armin Jozef Jacobus Daniël van Buuren is a Dutch DJ and record producer from Leiden, South Holland. Since 2001, he has hosted A State of Trance (ASOT), a weekly radio show, which is broadcast to nearly 40 million listeners in 84 countries on over 100 FM radio stations. According to the website DJs and Festivals, "the radio show propelled him to stardom and helped cultivate an interest in trance music around the world".
Way Out West are an English electronic music duo comprising Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren. Originating in Bristol, England, they rose to fame in the 1990s with their UK-charting singles "The Gift" and "Ajare", and their debut studio album Way Out West was released in 1997 to critical and commercial success. Their 2001 follow-up, Intensify, also garnered chart success, along with its singles "The Fall", "Intensify" and "Mindcircus", the latter of which reached number one on the UK Dance Chart.
Timo Maas is a German DJ/producer and remixer whose career in electronic music spans well over 30 years. His remix of Azzido Da Bass's single "Dooms Night" helped launch his career in 2000.
Sander Kleinenberg is a Dutch disc jockey, VDJ, and record producer. He founded and runs Little Mountain Recordings and THIS IS Recordings. Kleinenberg is well known for his use of digital video in concerts, his "Everybody" and This Is brands of club nights and albums and his 2000 single "My Lexicon" as well as hits like "The Fruit" and "This Is Miami".
Max Graham is a British-Canadian DJ, composer, and producer of dance music. Known for fusing progressive house, trance, and techno, he is most famous for his open-to-close DJ Sets, his Cycles CD series/radio show, and his remix of the classic song "Owner of a Lonely Heart" in 2005. He is also the founder of record labels Re*Brand and Cycles.

He is best known as a member of the electronic music duo Way Out West, his record label and global live events brand, The Soundgarden, and for his albums released in the Global Underground series. He is also head of A&R for the record label Hope Recordings.
Steve Lawler is a British house music producer and DJ born in Birmingham, England he is a five time DJ Awards winner and has held residences at many popular dance clubs such as Space, The End and Twilo. Because of his successful performances at Space in Ibiza, he was nicknamed "King of Space". Lawler has released several mix albums and is especially well known for his Lights Out series featured on Boxed. He currently runs the record label VIVa Music. He also founded the now defunct Harlem Records leaving a list of creditors in its wake.
Global Underground 028: Nick Warren, Shanghai is a DJ mix album in the Global Underground series, compiled and mixed by Nick Warren. The album peaked at #14 on the Billboard Top Electronic Albums. Though Warren was inspired by the Shanghai scene, the album's music came from producers of thirteen different nationalities.
