Plot

The film follows Troy, a former mobster who has been on the run for over a year. Prior to this, Troy had worked for Dmitri, an aging mob boss whose criminal pursuits included selling drugs, especially cocaine. One evening one of Troy's colleagues, Al, was assaulted and robbed while picking up a drug shipment. Troy and Al trace the drugs back to Manny Ramos, a small-time drug dealer whose family member, Hector, ran a rival crime organization that worked with Dmitri. Troy, Al, and their colleague Pete are told to leave the situation alone, but they ignore Dmitri and murder Manny while retrieving the drugs. In order to keep the peace between himself and Hector, Dmitiri sends Troy to Hector along with a note revealing that the man killed Manny. Troy manages to escape and tries to convince Al and Pete to kill Dmitiri, however both men refuse.

Hector arrives at Dmitri's compound and states that his organization will not work with Dmitri's unless they hand over Troy. Aware that this could result in more chaos and a loss of profit, Dmitri sends his men out to search for Troy. Some of Dmitri's men arrive at the home of Troy's girlfriend Jessie and begin assaulting her. Troy manages to save Jessie and takes her to a hotel where he asks his friend Davey to keep her safe. He then spends the next 18 months evading Dmitri and Hector's attempts to capture him.

Back in present day Troy meets up with Al and Pete. The reunion is tense, leading Al to suspect that Troy has set them up and Troy accuses Al of betraying him to Dmitri. Al takes a call from someone he claims is Dmitri, prompting Troy to reveal that he has already met and murdered Dmitri. Hector and his men arrive at the hotel, where they are met by Davey and a cohort who assisted in Dmitri's death. Meanwhile, Al receives a phone call from Dmitri's associate Yuri, revealing that Al had indeed betrayed Troy to Dmitri and that Yuri is on his way to the hotel. Troy kills Al as Yuri arrives and shuts out the hotel's lights, resulting in a shootout between Hector and his men, Yuri, Troy, and Peter. Yuri manages to turn on the lights to discover that everyone is dead except for Troy, who had managed to escape with only an abdomen wound.
