Plot

In this comedy of errors, a betrayed man on voluntary self-confinement faces the simultaneous arrival of a peculiar package, and a curious journalist.

After being betrayed by his wife, Karan quits his regular job and locks himself in. He only receives daily groceries via the neighbourhood caretaker. Even stepping out induces extreme anxiety within him.

One evening, a neighbour, Pinky, drops off a packaged cabinet at his place and asks him to take care of it. He later discovers it's something deadly. At the same time, a young journalist who has heard of his isolation comes to interview him. They hit it off while he constantly tries to keep her from seeing the package.

Trouble ensues when the neighbour, the package, the journalist, everything comes crashing down all at once.

Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vikramjeet Virk, Sapna Pabbi, Pankaj Tripathi and Boman Irani the story of the film revolves around the manhunt for an infamous 'King' for a robbery of 300 kilograms of gold. An undercover agent infiltrates a street racing gang who is chasing the King. The film was scheduled to release on 7 September 2018, but was pushed to 28 June 2019, ultimately to not see a theatrical release. It was directly released on Netflix on 1 November 2019. It marked the last film of Rajput before his death on 14 June 2020.

Mirzapur is an Indian action crime thriller streaming television series created for Amazon Prime Video, by Karan Anshuman, who wrote the script along with Puneet Krishna & Vineet Krishna. Anshuman directed the first season of the series, along with Gurmmeet Singh and Mihit Desai, the latter of whom directed the second season. The series is produced by Rithesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar of Excel Entertainment. The story follows Akhandanand Tripathi, also known as Kaleen Bhaiya, the mafia don and proverbial ruler of Mirzapur in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh.
