Hows My Pop were a four-piece, indie rock band from Lancaster, England.
The band formed late 2005 and after a few weeks of writing songs together they organised their first show in Lancaster. Soon after their first show they received radio coverage on BBC Radio Lancashire from DJ Sean Mcginty.
In the summer of 2006, Hows My Pop were invited to play the first ever Kendal Calling festival alongside such acts as Little Man Tate and British Sea Power.
Following a TV appearance on City Life Social on Channel M [1] in 2006, they played shows at Dpercussion and In The City festivals in Manchester, and supported acts such as The View at The Night and Day Café, The Holloways and The Research.
Hows My Pop were chosen to play on the BBC Introducing stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2007. [2] [3] Shortly after this they went into the studio to record Am I Normal Yet?? which was unreleased until 2010.
The band went into a permanent hiatus following the release of On The Hop on the label Barnbox.
Hows My Pop performed a one-off gig at the Yorkshire House in Lancaster in December 2014.

Mark Radcliffe is an English radio broadcaster, musician and writer. Born in Bolton, Lancashire, he is best known for his broadcasting work for the BBC for whom he has worked in various roles since the 1980s.
Biffy Clyro are a Scottish metal band that formed in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, composed of Simon Neil, James Johnston, and Ben Johnston. Currently signed to 14th Floor Records, they have released eight studio albums, five of which reached the top five in the UK Albums Chart, with their sixth studio album, Opposites claiming their first UK No. 1 album. The latest three consecutive studio albums have all peaked at number one in the UK official albums chart. After their first three albums, the band expanded their following significantly in 2007 with the release of their fourth album, Puzzle, creating more mainstream songs with simpler rhythms and distancing themselves from the more unusual dissonant style present in their previous three albums. Puzzle peaked at No. 2 on the official UK album charts on 16 June 2007. The album went platinum in the UK in 2012, having sold over 300,000 copies.

Lauren Cecilia Fisher, known professionally as Lauren Laverne, is an English radio DJ, model, television presenter, author and singer. She was the lead singer and additional guitarist in the rock band Kenickie. Kenickie's album At The Club reached the top 10, although her greatest chart success came when she performed vocals on Mint Royale's single "Don't Falter". Laverne has presented numerous television programmes, including 10 O'Clock Live for Channel 4, and The Culture Show and coverage of the Glastonbury Festival for the BBC. She has also written a published novel entitled Candypop: Candy and the Broken Biscuits. She presents the breakfast show on BBC Radio 6 Music.
Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. The group consists of Alex Turner, Jamie Cook, Nick O'Malley, and Matt Helders. Former band member Andy Nicholson left the band in 2006 shortly after their debut album was released.
Angelica were an English all-girl punk rock band from Lancaster, Lancashire, England. Holly Ross, Brigit Colton, Claire Windsor (guitar) and Rachel Parsons (drums) formed the band while still at school in 1994 and performed until 2003. Their music was influenced by punk music mixed with surf rock overtones, and feminist lyrics.
El Presidente was a pop rock band from Glasgow, Scotland. Formed in 2002 by Gun member Dante Gizzi, the band gained major exposure with slots at T in the Park 2005, V Festival 2005 and again at T in the Park in 2006. The band have also supported Oasis, Duran Duran, Simple Minds and Kasabian on major tours of the UK.

"Baggy Trousers" is a song by English ska/pop band Madness from their 1980 album Absolutely. It was written by lead singer Graham "Suggs" McPherson and guitarist Chris Foreman, and reminisces about school days.. The band first began performing the song at live shows in April 1980.
Cherry Ghost were an English music group which began in 2005, first as an alias for singer-songwriter Simon Aldred as a solo artist, before morphing into a full band. Their debut album, Thirst for Romance, was released in July 2007 and entered the UK Album Charts at No. 7. It was nominated for an Ivor Novello award as well as winning Aldred an Ivor Novello for best song "People Help the People". A second album, titled Beneath This Burning Shoreline, was released in July 2010 to positive critical acclaim. Aldred, under the moniker Out Cold, released a solo album titled Invasion of Love in September 2013, featuring a markedly synthpop sound. Cherry Ghost released their third and final album Herd Runners in May 2014; Aldred last performed with Cherry Ghost in 2016 on the Marc Riley Show on BBC Radio 6 Music.
Foals are an English rock band from Oxford, formed in 2005. The band's current line-up consists of lead vocalist and lead guitarist Yannis Philippakis, drummer and percussionist Jack Bevan, rhythm guitarist Jimmy Smith and keyboardist Edwin Congreave. They are currently signed to Warner Records, and have released six studio albums to date: Antidotes (2008), Total Life Forever (2010), Holy Fire (2013), What Went Down (2015), and Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1 & 2 (2019). Gemma Cairney is an English television and radio presenter best known for her work on BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 6 Music. She most recently presented The Leisure Society on BBC Radio 6 Music where she interviewed cultural icons including Goldie, Tracey Emin, Kelley Deal, Laurie Vincent from Slaves and Cosey Fanni Tutti. Previously she co-hosted The Surgery alongside Radha Modgil. She has also presented Gemma Cairney on BBC Radio 1 weekends 7 am – 10 am and later weekdays 4 am – 6:30 am, switching with Dev. More recently she has regularly covered for Lauren Laverne, Mary Ann Hobbs, Chris Hawkins, Steve Lamacq, Cerys Matthews and Craig Charles on BBC Radio 6 Music. Cairney is also an Oxfam ambassador.

The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris "Woody" Wood. The name of the band derives from Bastille Day, which is celebrated on 14 July, Smith's birthday.

Summer 2019 is a European mini-tour by Australian recording artist Kylie Minogue, in support of her fourth major greatest hits album, Step Back in Time: The Definitive Collection (2019). The tour commenced on 20 June 2019 in Kingston upon Thames, England at the Hampton Court Palace, and ended in 7 March 2020 in São Paulo.
