The Hrazdan mine is a large mine in the center of Armenia in Kotayk Province. Hrazdan represents one of the largest iron reserve in Armenia having estimated reserves of 77 million tonnes of ore grading 40% iron. [2]

Meghradzor, meaning, valley of honey; formerly known as Taycharukh), is a village in the Kotayk Province of Armenia, 15 kilometres (9 mi) northwest of Hrazdan. The village is located to the south of the Tsaghkunyats mountain range, along the left bank of the Marmarik River. It was founded my immigrants from Aratsap in 1830 and is well known for its famous honey, hence, the name Meghradzor literally translates to valley of honey. The nearby village of Gorgoch is also included in the community of Meghradzor.

Ptghni, is a village located in the Kotayk Province of Armenia along the left bank of the Hrazdan River. It was founded in 1831 in the vicinity of an abandoned dwelling. The village has a school, kindergarten, house of culture, and a library. The local economy is dependent on agriculture and local inhabitants primarily grow grapes, melons, gourds, and breed cattle. Within the village are the remains of fortress walls and Ptghavank of the 6th to 7th-century.

Sravants is controlled by Bounty Resources Armenia, and, in 2011, Fortune Oil acquired a 35% stake of Bounty Resources Armenia.

The 1993 Armenian Cup was the second edition of the Armenian Cup, a football competition. In 1993, the tournament had 31 participant, of which only one was a reserve team.
