Hua Hin Jazz Festival is a jazz festival in Hua Hin, Thailand. The festival, organized by Hilton since 2001, is usually held in June and features Thailand's best jazz talent. [1]

Vladimir Četkar is a Macedonian recording artist, composer, arranger, producer, guitarist and vocalist who is based in New York City. He was born in Ohrid, Republic of Macedonia where, in his childhood, he played the violin. He was greatly influenced by such jazz, funk, soul and disco bands and musicians as Change, Chic, Earth Wind and Fire, Patrice Rushen, Cameo, The Brothers Johnson, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Quincy Jones, Jamiroquai and many more. True Thailand Classic is a golf tournament, co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour, played annually in Thailand. The inaugural tournament was played from 12–15 February 2015 at the Black Mountain Golf Club, in Hua Hin. It has a purse of US$2,000,000, twice as high as the other leading tournaments in the country, the Thailand Golf Championship and Thailand Open.

On 11 August 2016, two bombs exploded in the Thai resort town of Hua Hin. One person was killed and 23, many of them tourists, were injured. The next day, several more bombings took place, again targeting Hua Hin as well as Surat Thani, Phuket and Trang. At least two people were killed and many more were injured. In total, at least four people were killed and 36 injured.

The 2019 Thailand Open, sponsored by Toyota, was a tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the 1st edition of the Hua Hin Championships as part of the WTA International tournaments of the 2019 WTA Tour. It took place at the True Arena Hua Hin in Hua Hin, Thailand, from 28 January 2019 to 3 February 2019.
