Huang Yi-ting (born 16 January 1990) is a Taiwanese competitive rower.

At the Olympic qualifying events in April 2016 she came first beating Mahsa Javar from Iran. [1]

She competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, in the women's single sculls. [2]

Siow Yi Ting is a former Olympic and national record holding breaststroke swimmer from Malaysia. She swam for Malaysia at the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympics. She did not swim at the 2012 Olympics, and retired in 2013.

Lew Yih Wey is a Malaysian swimmer, who specialised in long-distance freestyle, backstroke, and individual medley events. Huang Yi-Ling is a Taiwanese sport shooter. Huang represented Chinese Taipei at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed in two pistol shooting events. She placed twenty-second out of forty-four shooters in the women's 10 m air pistol, with a total score of 379 points. Three days later, Tanova competed for her second event, 25 m pistol, where she was able to shoot 281 targets in the precision stage, and 282 in the rapid fire, for a total score of 563 points, finishing only in thirty-ninth place.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Death of Mahsa Amini</span> Death of a woman following dress code-related arrest in Iran

On 16 September 2022, 22-year-old Iranian woman Mahsa Amini, also known as Jina Amini, died in a hospital in Tehran, Iran, under suspicious circumstances. The Guidance Patrol, the religious morality police of Iran's government, arrested Amini for allegedly not wearing the hijab in accordance with government standards. The Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated that she had a heart attack at a police station, collapsed, and fell into a coma before being transferred to a hospital. However, eyewitnesses, including women who were detained with Amini, reported that she was severely beaten and that she died as a result of police brutality, which was denied by the Iranian authorities. The assertions of police brutality, in addition to leaked medical scans, led some observers to believe Amini had a cerebral hemorrhage or stroke due to head injuries received after her arrest.
