Hugh Vivian Foord (born Q2. 1929) is an English former athlete.

Biography

Foord was a member of the Brighton Athletics Club and finished third behind Ken Norris in the 6 miles event at the 1956 AAA Championships. [1] [2]

Foord finished second behind Stan Eldon in the 6 miles event at the 1958 AAA Championships [3] [4] and shortly afterwards, Foord represented England in the 6 miles race at the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff, Wales. [5] [6]

As of 2020, Foord was still actively running at the age of 91. [7]
