Hugo Diego Garcia (born 1993) is a French and Spanish actor, writer and director. [1] [2] He studied law and pursued boxing before stepping into the film industry. He studied theater and cinema in Lyon and Paris, then he moved to Los Angeles. [3]
His first two short films were "Tony" and "Cagnolino". [4] Tony was named one of the "Best 10 Short Films of 2019" by the UK Film Review and from Silver Bear winners, Damiano and Fabio D'Innocenzo (La Terra Dell Abbastanza, Favolacce). [5] Hugo also playing role in "Touchées", Alexandra Lamy's first feature film and of the series regular Jules Toussaint in Hulu's Death and Other Details . [6] [7] [8] [9] [10] In 2022 Hugo was cast alongside Margaret Qualley and Demi Moore to play Diego in Coralie Fargeat's The Substance . He is also playing the role of Coco in John Woo’s remake movie The Killer . [11] Hugo Diego also wrote, produced and co-directed alongside Lorenzo Bentivoglio his first feature "Vache Folle" in which he plays the lead role.
