Hum Dono (English: Both of us) is a 1995 Indian action thriller film starring Rishi Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Pooja Bhatt. [1] [2] It was inspired by the film Planes, Trains and Automobiles , starring Steve Martin and John Candy. But the story really looks to be loosely based on Rain Man , starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise. The movie was the only directorial movie for actor Shafi Inamdar. [3]

Plot

Vishal's father Mr. Vikram Saigal made a will which shall be executed with the consonance of his step brother Raju. Vishal hates Raju and his lower class lifestyle but is forced to team up with Raju for the property. Raju has love interest with Priyanka and he needs Vishal's help. [4] [5]

Hasratein (Desires) is an Indian television soap opera that was telecast on Zee TV in the mid 1990s. It is based on the Marathi novel "Adhantari" by Late Shri Jaywant Dalvi. Hasratein focuses around successes of extra marital relationships. One of the main story is of Savi, a woman who leaves her husband and maintains an extra-marital relationship with another married man, with both their spouses being aware of the situation. Her actions were due to the fact that years ago, during her childhood, her mother left her father for a young man. The show emphasizes the societal strain placed on marriages in Indian culture, especially roles given to the female spouse resulting in boredom felt by the male spouse. Hasratein was one of the most popular television shows of the mid and late 1990s.
