Troma Entertainment is an American independent film production and distribution company founded by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz in 1974. The company produces low-budget independent films, or "B movies", primarily of the horror comedy genre, all geared exclusively to mature audiences. Many of them play on 1950s horror with elements of farce, parody, gore, and splatter.

The TromaDance Film Festival is a free annual independent non-competitive film festival organized by Troma Entertainment. Founded in 1999, TromaDance was originally held in Park City and Salt Lake City, Utah, operating concurrently alongside the Sundance Film Festival in order to showcase an independent alternative to Sundance's perceived mainstream offerings. Between 2010 and 2013, the festival had been relocated to various locations throughout New Jersey. Since 2014, TromaDance has relocated to New York City, and Mahoning Drive-In Theater.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is an American horror franchise created by Kim Henkel and Tobe Hooper. It consists of nine films, comics, a novel, and two video game adaptations. The franchise focuses on the cannibalistic spree killer Leatherface and his family, who terrorize unsuspecting visitors to their territories in the desolate Texas countryside, typically killing and subsequently cooking them. Found footage is a cinematic technique in which all or a substantial part of the work is presented as if it were film or video recordings recorded by characters in the story, and later "found" and presented to the audience. The events on screen are typically seen through the camera of one or more of the characters involved, often accompanied by their real-time, off-camera commentary. For added realism, the cinematography may be done by the actors themselves as they perform, and shaky camera work and naturalistic acting are routinely employed. The footage may be presented as if it were "raw" and complete or as if it had been edited into a narrative by those who "found" it.

Mario Cerrito III is an American filmmaker, writer, producer and actor most closely associated with the horror genre. He is best known for his award winning film trilogy, Human Hibachi, Human Hibachi 2: Feast in The Forest and Human Hibachi 3: The Last Supper which are released by Troma Entertainment.
Brian Patrick Butler is an American actor, film director, screenwriter, and film producer. He is known for writing and directing the film Friend of the World (2020), writing and performing in the film Hemet, or the Landlady Don't Drink Tea (2023), and appearing in the films South of 8 (2016), Thane of East County (2015) and We All Die Alone (2021).
Ray Gallardo is an American film director and cinematographer who directed the films At the Frontera (2018) and Callejero (2015) and was the cinematographer for the films Friend of the World (2020),The Fifth of November (2018) and Touch (2022).
Human Hibachi 2: Feast in The Forest is a 2023 found footage horror film written and directed by Mario Cerrito and the second installment of the Human Hibachi series. The film was acquired by Troma Entertainment and released in April 2023.

Human Hibachi 3: The Last Supper is an upcoming 2025 found footage horror film written and directed by Mario Cerrito and the fourth installment of the Human Hibachi series. The film follows the previous films Human Hibachi (2020), Human Hibachi 2: Feast in The Forest (2022), and Human Hibachi: The Beginning (2023).
