The Showboat Atlantic City is a resort hotel and former casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Showboat opened as a casino hotel in 1987 and closed in 2014; the hotel reopened in 2016. It is owned by developer Bart Blatstein.

The movie went on to win 2021 best feature film at the New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival.
Mario Cerrito is an American filmmaker, writer and producer known in the horror/thriller genre. His films Human Hibachi and Human Hibachi 2 both won Best Feature film at the New Jersey Horror Con and Film Festival in Atlantic City.
The North to Shore Festival is a music, comedy, film and technology festival in New Jersey inaugurated in 2023. The event is hosted in June by three New Jersey cities: Atlantic City, Asbury Park and Newark. The North to Shore Festival is produced by, among others, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, SJ Presents, Madison Marquette, Live Nation Entertainment, Platinum Productions and Absolutely Live!
