Humans are a Canadian indie electronic pop duo. [1]
Vancouver's Robbie Slade and Peter Ricq met in 2008, and started making music together in the summer of 2009. [1] They released a demo album in 2009. [2] In 2010, the duo released their first EP called Avec Mes Mecs, and produced a video for its title track. [3] Promotion through BIRP [4] (an indie music blog & monthly playlist) along with fan-made videos [5] ushered in the release of the official video in 2011.
Following up Avec Mes Mecs, the duo released their sophomore EP called Traps in 2012. [6] The release received high praise from publications such as DJ Mag, Exclaim!, and Resident Advisor. [7] [8] [9] A video for the song "Horizon" was premiered on Spinner. [10]
Humans have garnered a reputation for being a live act that is "full of unbelievable energy and ready to engage with the crowd." [11] Their visual presentation uses live audio input from their shows, allowing for improvisation in both their visual and audio performances. [12]
On tour, Humans have opened for Broken Social Scene, The Crystal Method, Junior Boys, and Clipse. [13]

Metric is a Canadian rock band founded in 1998 in Toronto, Ontario. The band consists of Emily Haines, James Shaw, Joshua Winstead and Joules Scott-Key. The band started in 1998 as a duo formed by Haines and Shaw with the name "Mainstream". After releasing an EP titled Mainstream EP, they changed the band's name to Metric.

Suuns is a Canadian rock band from Montreal. It was formed in mid-2007 when vocalist and guitarist Ben Shemie and guitarist and bassist Joe Yarmush got together to make some beats which quickly evolved into a few songs. The duo was soon joined by drummer Liam O'Neill and bassist and keyboardist Max Henry to complete the original line-up. The band signed to Secretly Canadian in 2010. Since 2018, Suuns saw the departure of Henry as an official member to pursue a scholastic path, and in 2020 they officially signed with Joyful Noise Recordings with their 2020 output of Fiction EP followed by their LP The Witness.
Post Human: Survival Horror is a commercial release by British rock band Bring Me the Horizon. It was released on 30 October 2020 and is intended to be the first in a series of four projects to be released by the band under the Post Human name. The release was produced by frontman Oliver Sykes and keyboardist Jordan Fish, with additional production from composer Mick Gordon. Stylistically, the release marks return to the heavier and more aggressive metalcore sound of the band's earlier material.
