Hungaria FbC Roma was an Italian football club which was active in the early 1950s. Hungaria FbC Roma was made up entirely of Hungarian expatriate players, or players of Hungarian origin. The club didn't play in any official matches, and instead only participated in exhibition matches. However, despite this, it still managed to attract a number of international players. Hungaria disbanded while on tour in Colombia, leading to many of their players joining newly founded Unión Magdalena based in Santa Marta, a team that is currently playing in the Colombian top division, the Liga Águila.[ citation needed ]
Associazione Sportiva Roma is a professional football club based in Rome, Italy. Founded by a merger in 1927, Roma has participated in the top tier of Italian football for all of its existence, except for the 1951–52 season. Roma has won Serie A three times, in 1941–42, 1982–83 and 2000–01, as well as nine Coppa Italia titles and two Supercoppa Italiana titles. In European competitions, Roma won the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup in 1960–61 and the UEFA Conference League in 2021–22, while they finished runners-up in the 1983–84 European Cup, the 1990–91 UEFA Cup and the 2022–23 UEFA Europa League.
Nándor Hidegkuti was a Hungarian football player and manager. He played as a forward or attacking midfielder and spent the majority of his playing career at MTK Hungária FC. During the 1950s he was also a key member of the Hungary national team known as the Golden Team. Other members of the team included Ferenc Puskás, Zoltán Czibor, Sándor Kocsis and József Bozsik. In 1953, playing as a deep lying centre-forward, a position which has retroactively been compared to the modern false 9 role, he scored a hat-trick for Hungary when they beat England 6–3 at Wembley Stadium. Playing from deep, Hidegkuti was able to distribute the ball to the other attackers and cause considerable confusion to defences. This was an innovation at the time and revolutionised the way the game was played.
Bogdan Ionuț Lobonț is a Romanian professional football coach and former player who played as a goalkeeper.
Zoltán Czibor was a Hungarian footballer who played for several Hungarian clubs, including Ferencváros and Budapest Honvéd, and the Hungary national team before joining CF Barcelona. Czibor played as a left-winger or striker and was notable for having a powerful shot, good pace and excellent ball control. During the 1950s he was part of the Magical Magyars, reaching the World Cup final with them in 1954. After the 1956 Hungarian Revolution he moved to Spain where he became a prominent member of the successful FC Barcelona team of the late 1950s. After three seasons at Barcelona, he joined their local rivals Español for the 1961–62 season. After brief spells at FC Basel, Austria Wien and Primo Hamilton FC, he retired as a professional footballer and returned to Hungary. He died there in 1997, aged 68.
Ferdinand Daučík was a Slovak football player and manager. Daučík was the manager of several La Liga clubs, most notably Barcelona, Atlético Bilbao, Atlético Madrid and Real Zaragoza. During his career, he managed La Liga clubs in 488 matches, won three La Liga titles and won the Copa del Generalísimo on six occasions, including three La Liga/Copa doubles. He died in Alcalá de Henares.
Unión Magdalena commonly known as El Unión, and nicknamed as El Ciclón Bananero and also Los Samarios, is a Colombian football club from the city of Santa Marta, capital of the department of Magdalena, founded on April 19 1953. They will compete in the Categoría Primera A, the first division of the Colombian football league system, starting from 2025.
György Sárosi was a Hungarian footballer. Sárosi was a complete footballer renowned for his versatility and technique among other things, and he played in several positions for Ferencváros and the Hungary national team. Essentially a second striker, he could also operate in midfield or central defence, and he helped Ferencváros win five Hungarian league titles between 1932 and 1941. He is considered one of the greatest players of the pre-war era.
ETO FC Győr or just ETO is a Hungarian professional football club from the city of Győr. They are best known for reaching the semi-finals of the European Cup 1964-65. The club has won the Hungarian League four times. In 1904 the club was founded as Győri Vagongyár ETO and has undergone many name changes since. The colours of the club are green and white.
Ferenc Hirzer known in Hungarian as Ferenc Híres was a Hungarian football player and manager, who played as a forward during the 1910s and 1920s; he is perhaps best known for his time with Italian side Juventus. He also played for the Hungary national football team thirty-three different times, scoring fourteen goals.

After retiring as a player he became a coach, and managed Spanish side UE Lleida between 1959 and 1960, and CE Sabadell FC between 1960 and 1961. He then coached Budapest Sydney and Polonia Western Eagles.

The 2010–11 Nemzeti Bajnokság I was the sixtieth edition of the top level championship in the Hungarian team handball for women. The regular season started on 2 September 2010 with a clash between UKSE Szekszárd and defending champions Győri ETO KC, and ended on 27 March 2011, also including Győr, this time as hosts against Újbuda TC. The postseason began on 7 April 2011 and was concluded on 21 May 2011 with the final round classification groups. Győri Audi ETO KC went on to win all of their playoff matches and took their fourth consecutive title and eighth overall.
