Váci NKSE are a Hungarian women's handball club from Vác, that play in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. Founded in 1949, the team have won promotion to the top-level championship first in 1998. Since then, they have been improved year by year and achieved their best result in 2010 by finishing third. However, in 2011, the club's main sponsor stepped down, following which Vác had to cut their budget and lost many of their key players.

The World Curling Championships are the annual world championships for curling, organized by the World Curling Federation and contested by national championship teams. The men's championship started in 1959, while the women's started in 1979. The mixed doubles championship was started in 2008. Since 2005, the men's and women's championships have been held in different venues, with Canada hosting one of the two championships every year: the men's championship in odd years, and the women's championship in even years. Canada has dominated both the men's and women's championships since their inception, although Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Scotland, the United States, Norway and China have all won at least one championship.

She is the 2022 European Aquatics Championships bronze medalist in the 200-metre backstroke. She won four gold medals, in the 100-metre backstroke, 4×100-metre freestyle relay, 4×200-metre freestyle relay, and the 4×100-metre mixed freestyle relay, as well as one silver medal, in the 200-metre backstroke, at the 2022 World Junior Championships. At the 2022 European Junior Championships, she won gold medals in the 100-metre backstroke, 200-metre backstroke, 4×200-metre freestyle relay, and 4×100-metre mixed freestyle relay and silver medals in the 100-metre freestyle and 4×100-metre medley relay.

She is a 2022 European Junior Championships bronze medalist in the 400-metre individual medley and semi-finalist in the 200-metre backstroke and 200-metre butterfly. At the 2022 World Junior Championships, she placed sixth in the finals of the 200-metre butterfly and the 400-metre individual medley and seventh in the final of the 1500-metre freestyle.

The 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 22 to 29 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea. The event was held alongside the 2023 World Senior Curling Championships. Korey Dropkin and Cory Thiesse defeated Chiaki Matsumura and Yasumasa Tanida 8-2 in the final to win the gold medal.
