Cómplices (transl. Accomplices) is the 18th studio album by Mexican singer Luis Miguel, released on 2 May 2008 by Warner Music Latina. The record is a collaboration with Spanish musician Manuel Alejandro, who wrote and arranged the songs, and co-produced the album with Luis Miguel. Musically, it is a pop album of mostly ballads and a few uptempo tracks with lyrics emphasizing romance. Two singles were released to promote the album: "Si Tú Te Atreves" and "Te Desean". To further promote the record, Luis Miguel embarked on the year-long Cómplices Tour from September 2008 to September 2009. He performed in North America and a few countries in South America.
Blas Cantó Moreno is a Spanish singer and songwriter. He rose to prominence as a member of the Spanish band Auryn. In 2017, he embarked on a solo career. His debut studio album Complicado was released in September 2018, the album peaked at number one on the Spanish Albums Chart. He was going to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, with the song "Universo" but the competition was cancelled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. He represented Spain instead in Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song "Voy a quedarme".

The song features vocals performed by Puerto Rican recording artist Ivy Queen. It was released to radio as the lead single from the album on 9 May 2016 and as a digital download on 13 May 2016. A music video for the song was recorded in Miami in April 2016.
"Lo Malo" is a song by Spanish singers Aitana and Ana Guerra, originally written in English language under the title "Boy No Good" by Tye Morgan and Will Simms and adapted into Spanish language by Brisa Fenoy. It was released on January 28, 2018 as one of the candidate songs to represent Spain in the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, but it finished in third place and "Tu canción" was selected. A revamped radio version was released on April 6, 2018. The single topped the Spanish Singles Chart and received a fivefold platinum certification. A remix version featuring Colombian singer Greeicy and Argentine singer Tini was released on August 24, 2018.

Eduardo Hernández Saucedo, known professionally as Ed Maverick, is a Mexican singer-songwriter and musician of folk and alternative music. He started his music career by sharing his songs on social media. He gained fame after the release of his debut album, Mix pa' llorar en tu cuarto (2018) and its Mexican hit single "Fuentes de Ortiz", later certified-diamond by the AMPROFON. The second season of Tu cara me suena premiered on Univision and Las Estrellas on March 27, 2022. The series is the American Spanish-language version of the Endemol format Your Face Sounds Familiar. This season features eight celebrities that compete in a song and dance number while impersonating iconic singers. Ana Brenda Contreras and Rafael Araneda returned as hosts. Angélica Vale and Charytín Goyco returned to the judging panel. Edén Muñoz and Víctor Manuelle joined as judges, replacing Jesús Navarro and Kany García. On May 8, 2022, Michael Stuart was declared the winner of the season.
María Peláez Sánchez, known professionally as María Peláe, is a Spanish singer and composer. She has released two albums, entitled Hipocondría and La folcrónica. She participated as a contestant in the ninth edition of Antena 3's Tu cara me suena (2021–2022), finishing third. Her music is a mix of flamenco and pop rhythms, and the words to her songs are often humorous and critical of society.
Alfonso Cobo is a Spanish businessman. He is best known as the founder of Unfold, which was acquired by Squarespace in 2019.
