IBCT is a Belgian-based, Irish-registered women's road cycling team that was founded in 2018. In its first season in 2019, the team won the Belgian Cup. [2] Following the 2020 season, [3] that was extensively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe, the team announced their intention to become a UCI Women's Continental Team for the 2021 season. Jolien D'Hoore is a former Belgian track and road cyclist, whose last team was UCI Women's WorldTeam SD Worx. D'Hoore is a 29-time national track champion as well as a four-time national road champion at all competition levels. She won the bronze medal in the omnium at the 2016 Olympics and during her career was one of the strongest sprinters in the women's peloton.
Jasper De Buyst is a Belgian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Lotto–Soudal. De Buyst focuses mainly on track cycling, notably the omnium, points race, madison and six-day racing disciplines.
Lotte Kopecky is a Belgian road and track racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam SD Worx. In December 2017, she was named the Belgian Talent of the Year. She is a multiple world champion on the track, having won golds in the points race in 2021 and the madison in 2017. She participated in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, finishing 4th in the individual road race. In 2022, she won the Strade Bianche and Tour of Flanders classics.
Oliver Naesen is a Belgian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam AG2R Citroën Team. Considered a specialist of the one-day classics, he won the 2017 Belgian National Road Race Championships, as well as the Bretagne Classic in 2016 and 2018. He is the brother of fellow racing cyclist Lawrence Naesen.
Isabelle Beckers is a Belgian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Team Rupelcleaning–Champion Lubricants. She finished third in the Belgian National Time Trial Championships in 2016, and second in 2017.
Antonia Gröndahl is a Finnish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Team Rupelcleaning–Champion Lubricants. She rode in the women's road race at the 2016 UCI Road World Championships, but she did not finish the race.
Verena Eberhardt is an Austrian road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Team Rupelcleaning–Champion Lubricants. Representing Austria at international competitions, Eberhardt competed at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the points race event and scratch event.
Claire Faber is a Luxembourgian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Andy Schleck–CP NVST–Immo Losch. She rode in the women's road race event at the 2017 UCI Road World Championships.
MEXX–Watersley International Women's Cycling Team is a cycling team based in the Netherlands, founded in 2016, which attained UCI status for the 2019 season. The team announced on their facebook page the intention to fold the team at the end of the 2019 season, however their support staff and a few riders would be moving to Andy Schleck Cycles - Immo Losch.

Alice Louise Sharpe is an Irish racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Team Rupelcleaning–Champion Lubricants. She rode in the women's road race event at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships.
Maja Perinović is a Croatian racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Team Rupelcleaning–Champion Lubricants. She rode in the women's road race event at the 2018 UCI Road World Championships.
Lara Gillespie is an Irish professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team Team Rupelcleaning–Champion Lubricants. At the 2019 UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships, Gillespie won a bronze medal in the individual pursuit. She rode in the women's team pursuit event at the 2020 UCI Track Cycling World Championships in Berlin, Germany.

The 16th running of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad women's race in Belgium was held on 27 February 2021. Widely regarded as the start of the Classics season, it was a 1.Pro event on the women's international calendar. The race followed a similar route to that of the men's race, but was shorter and more straightforward at only 124.4 kilometres (77.3 mi), starting in Ghent and finishing in Ninove. For the first time, the women's race finished an hour after the men's race, allowing for the final hour to be broadcast live on television.
The tenth edition of the Gent–Wevelgem's women's race was held on Sunday 28 March 2021. It was the fourth event of the 2021 UCI Women's World Tour and was won by Marianne Vos in a sprint.
The ninth edition of Dwars door Vlaanderen's women's race was held on Wednesday 31 April 2021. The race started and finished in Waregem, and it was won by Annemiek van Vleuten ahead of Katarzyna Niewiadoma (Canyon–SRAM) in a sprint of two. Alexis Ryan (Canyon–SRAM) won the bunch sprint for third place.
