IFPI Denmark is the Danish branch of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) and is the official charts provider and recording sales certification body for Denmark. [1]

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI) is the organisation that represents the interests of the recording industry worldwide. It is a non-profit members' organisation registered in Switzerland and founded in Italy in 1933. It operates a Secretariat based in London, with regional offices in Brussels, Hong Kong and Miami.

Gold and platinum awards

Gold and platinum awards were first awarded in Denmark in the early 1990s. The sales requirements, are the same, for domestic and international repertoire. Note that Danish certification system for music products are awarded based on shipments.

Middle of Nowhere is the debut studio album by American pop rock group Hanson, and the first to be released on a major label, which was Polygram Records and Mercury Records. Rammstein discography discography

The discography of Rammstein, a German Neue Deutsche Härte band, consists of six studio albums, two live albums, and four video albums. Rammstein has also released twenty-five singles, twenty-four of which are accompanied by music videos. The band was formed in the mid-1990s by six musicians from East Berlin and Schwerin: singer Till Lindemann, guitarists Richard Kruspe and Paul Landers, keyboardist Flake Lorenz, bassist Oliver Riedel, and drummer Christoph Schneider.

Neue Deutsche Härte is a subgenre of rock music that developed in Germany during the mid-1990s. Alluding to the style of Neue Deutsche Welle, the term was coined by the music press after the 1995 release of Rammstein's album Herzeleid.

Beautiful World is the fourth studio album from British pop group Take That. The album was released in November 2006, and was the band's first studio album in 11 years; it was also the band's first album to be released as a four-piece, without Robbie Williams. Five singles were released from the album: "Patience", "Shine", "I'd Wait for Life", the European-only single "Reach Out", and "Rule the World", which appeared on the deluxe tour edition.

This is the discography of Danish dance duo Infernal consisting of band members Lina Rafn (pictured), Paw Lagermann, and ex-band member Søren Haahr, who left the band after the release of their debut album, Infernal Affairs in 1998. Medina Danielle Oona Valbak, known by the mononym Medina, is a Danish-Chilean singer and songwriter. She currently has released six albums including For altid and We Survive. She became popular with singles such as "Kun for Mig". At the 2010 Danish Music Awards, she won female artist of the year, Album of the year, and Songwriter of the year.

Aura Dione Danish singer-songwriter

Maria Louise Joensen, formerly known as Aura Dione, now just Aura, is a Danish singer and songwriter. In 2008 she released her debut album, Columbine. The album spawned the hit single "I Will Love You Monday (365)", which reached number one in Germany, achieved over 80 million video views and was certified platinum.
