Fort Myers Senior High School is a public school in Fort Myers, Florida. It was opened October 19, 1911, making it one of the oldest schools in the state of Florida, and the oldest in Lee County. It is managed by the Lee County School District. The enrollment as of May 2021 is 1,944 students. The school was integrated in 1969, largely by adding students displaced by the closing of historically black Dunbar High School. Integration was accompanied by much difficulty, including a riot at the school.
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is a science museum, planetarium, and aquarium located in Miami, Florida, United States. The museum originally opened its Coconut Grove location across from Vizcaya Museum and Gardens in 1960. It relocated to Maurice A. Ferré Park in the downtown area adjacent to the Perez Art Museum Miami in 2017 after the closing of the Coconut Grove location in 2015.
The Cox Science Center and Aquarium, formerly the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, is a science museum located in West Palm Beach, Florida. Founded in 1959, the goal of the organization is to open every mind to science through the strategic programming of interactive exhibits and engaging community-based camps and events. The Cox Center has expanded since its creation and now houses over 50 hands-on exhibits, a planetarium, a 3000 square foot aquarium, a miniature golf course, and a large exhibit space that displays a temporary travelling exhibit. The Cox Center is a member of the Association of Science-Technology Centers program, which offers a membership that is redeemable at other ASTC science and technology centers around the world. The Cox Center occupies Dreher Park alongside the Palm Beach Zoo and offers deals for entrance into both facilities.

The Southwest Florida Museum of History (SWFLM) is a history museum in Fort Myers, Florida. The museum is in historic downtown Ft. Myers, in a former Atlantic Coast Line Railroad depot at 2031 Jackson Street. It is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm.
Ostego Bay Foundation Marine Science Center is in Fort Myers, Florida. It is at 718 Fisherman’s Wharf on San Carlos Island between Fort Myers Beach and the mainland. The marine science center includes exhibits and an aquarium. The building is being renovated in 2023 after Hurricane Ian but the foundation's programs are continuing. The annual fish fry fundraiser is scheduled at Bonita Bill's for December 1, 2023.
