I Hate Sally was a four-piece metal/post-hardcore band from Ontario, Canada. [1] It was formed in 2000 in Kingston, Ontario by Marc Garniss, Ben Thomas and Kelly Payne.
After numerous line-up changes the band finally had a consistent and solid line-up, this being Marc Garniss, Ben Thomas, Nick Stecz and Dan Vokey. With this line-up they started touring and writing songs that would later be released on I Hate Sally's 2004 debut Sickness of the Ages. 2005 brought the return of former bassist Dee Prescott back on for vocal duties. With Dee in the line-up, I Hate Sally began recording an EP entitled The Plague which was also released in 2005. In late 2005 Ben Thomas left the band after having issues with the band members. After Ben's departure, I Hate Sally considered starting a new band with the 4 remaining members, but instead decided to continue on as a four-piece I Hate Sally.
In the spring of 2006 Don't Worry Lady was recorded, and after its completion drummer Nick Stecz left the band to pursue other options; he was replaced by Mark McGee. Toronto-based label Underground Operations signed I Hate Sally in the fall of 2006 and this was followed by the long-awaited release of Don't Worry Lady. Vagrant/Density Records signed the band [2] and released Don't Worry Lady in the US on June 12, 2007, and on October 1, 2007, in the UK. On December 11, 2007, I Hate Sally and Quebec metal band GFK joined forces to release a 6-song split EP. On July 10, 2008, the band officially announced that they had disbanded permanently. [1]
Though the band's genre leans towards metalcore music, Dee Prescott has stated her favorite genre of music as being punk rock and expressed an interest in collaboration with Beth Ditto from The Gossip. [3] Each member of the band had different musical tastes and the overall inspiration for writing within I Hate Sally came from life in general more than from other bands. [3]
The Hives are a Swedish rock band that rose to prominence in the early 2000s during the garage rock revival. Their mainstream success came with the release of the album Veni Vidi Vicious, containing the single "Hate to Say I Told You So". The band has been acclaimed by music critics as one of the best live rock bands.

The (International) Noise Conspiracy was a Swedish rock band formed in Sweden in the late months of 1998. The line-up consists of Dennis Lyxzén (vocals), Inge Johansson (bass), Lars Strömberg (guitar), and Ludwig Dahlberg (drums). The band is known for its punk and garage rock musical influences, and its impassioned left-wing political stance. Up until 2004, guitarist/organist/keyboardist Sara Almgren was also a member of the band. Dennis formed The (I)NC almost immediately after the breakup of his former band, Refused. The (I)nc takes pride in blending the roots of at least four other bands, including Totalt Jävla Mörker (Johansson), Separation (Strömberg), Saidiwas, and Doughnuts (Almgren). In 2007, Inge Johansson also played in the band The Most.

The Chariot was an American hardcore punk band from Douglasville, Georgia, that existed from 2003 to 2013. The last lineup consisted of drummer David Kennedy, vocalist and bandleader Josh Scogin, and guitarists Brandon Henderson and Stephen Harrison. The band experienced frequent lineup changes since its inception, with Scogin being the only original member. The band played an abrasive style of metalcore that did not adhere to typical stylings popular among their contemporaries such as melodic/abrasive dynamics and harmonic vocals. They built a reputation around their powerful live performances, with Scogin's lyrics covering topics like materialism, personal struggle, current events, politics, and Christian themes.

Bush Tetras are an American post-punk No Wave band from New York City, formed in 1979. They are best known for the 1980 song "Too Many Creeps", which exemplified the band's sound of "jagged rhythms, slicing guitars, and sniping vocals". Although they did not achieve mainstream success, the Bush Tetras were influential and popular in the Manhattan club scene and college radio in the early 1980s. New York's post-punk revival of the 2000s was accompanied by a resurgence of interest in the genre, with the Tetras' influence heard in many of that scene's bands.
Big D and the Kids Table is a ska punk band formed in October 1995 in Boston, Massachusetts when its members converged in college. Their first release was on their own Fork in Hand Records label, but have since teamed with Springman Records and SideOneDummy. The band has been noted for its strict DIY work ethic, such as engineering, producing, and releasing their own albums and videos and self-promotion of their own shows.
Underground Operations was an independent punk rock record label based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Established in 1995, the label was originally based in Ajax, Ontario. Operated by Mark Spicoluk, former Closet Monster member and former bass player for Avril Lavigne, this label was one of the most successful independent labels in Canada. Spicoluk started the label when he was 16 years of age. Underground Operations shut down on December 2, 2016.

The Freeze is an American punk rock band from Cape Cod, Massachusetts, United States, formed by a group of teenagers in 1978. They released the first single, "I Hate Tourists" in 1980 and contributed eight songs, including the title track to the 1982 hardcore punk compilation This Is Boston, Not L.A.

The album features Oliveri on bass, vocals, guitars and drums, Hoss Wright on drums, and Ben Perrier, Ben Thomas and Marc Diamond among others.
Don't Worry Lady is the second and final full-length album by the hardcore/thrash band I Hate Sally. The album was released in 2006. Shortly after this, I Hate Sally was signed to Vagrant Records and the album was re-released for the US and UK in 2007 on the band's second label.

"All We Are" is a song composed by the German heavy metal band Warlock, from their 1987 album Triumph and Agony. It was released as the band's fourth single and published by Vertigo Records. A music video for the song was shot by director Mark Rezyka in the Los Angeles river basin and was on heavy rotation on MTV's heavy metal program Headbangers' Ball. The song was published again in every compilation of Warlock songs and is a staple of Doro's live shows to this day.
The Dishrags were a Canadian all-female punk rock band based in Vancouver, British Columbia in the late 1970s. Now considered the first punk group of note to emerge from the Vancouver music scene, the Dishrags were influenced by the work of the Ramones, and were forerunners in establishing the city's punk movement. After appearing on the compilation album Vancouver Complication in 1979, the band recorded two EPs and had more tracks released following disbandment.
