The I Hear a Song Tour is the second nationwide concert tour by Australian pop star, Dami Im. The album will support Im's fifth studio album I Hear a Song , released on 23 March 2018.
The Tour was announced on 7 December 2017. [1]
The tour is described as an "intimate tour" with Dami playing her hits and fan favourites as well as new material from her upcoming album. [2]
In August, 3 additional dates were added for November 2018.
Jesse Caffey of scenestr said "Not only is she exceptionally talented with a hugely impressive vocal range, but she could easily go into comedy. Her dry sense of humour was genuinely hilarious and made for charming interludes between songs, as she explained the reasons why each track was included on the album and gave us a history lesson about her beginnings as a classically trained pianist." Samantha Jade Gibbs is an Australian singer and songwriter. She has written tracks for artists including JoJo and Ashley Tisdale. In 2012, Jade won the fourth season of The X Factor Australia, the first woman to win the Australian series. She subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia and released her winner's single "What You've Done to Me", which debuted at number one on the ARIA Singles Chart.
Cher Lloyd is an English singer. She was the thirteenth contestant eliminated on the seventh series of the television talent show The X Factor in 2010. Following the show, Lloyd was signed to Syco Music in the United Kingdom and Epic Records in the United States. She released her debut studio album, Sticks and Stones, in 2011, which had two releases: its standard edition and a US version. The album peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart, while the latter version debuted at number nine in the US Billboard 200. It included the successful singles "Swagger Jagger", which entered at number one on the UK Singles Chart, "With Ur Love", and "Want U Back".

Jai Waetford is an Australian pop singer and songwriter who was the last contestant eliminated on the fifth season of The X Factor Australia. He subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia and released his debut single "Your Eyes", which peaked at number six on the ARIA Singles Chart. Waetford's self-titled debut EP was released in December 2013 and peaked at number 21 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Waetford joined the Australian soap opera Neighbours in February 2016 as Angus Beaumont-Hannay; his debut episode aired on 2 May. His latest EP Heart Miles was released 3 June 2016.
Dami Im is an Australian singer and songwriter. She represented Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 held in Stockholm, Sweden with the song "Sound of Silence", placing second and achieving the highest Eurovision Song Contest score for Australia.
Taylor James Henderson is an Australian singer and songwriter. Originating from Ceres, Victoria, Henderson rose to fame after placing third on the fourth series of Australia's Got Talent in 2010. Three years later, he became the runner-up on the fifth season of The X Factor Australia and subsequently received a recording contract with Sony Music Australia.
Gabriella Michelle "Ella" Henderson is an English singer and songwriter. She competed in the ninth series of The X Factor UK in 2012, being the eighth contestant eliminated despite being a strong favourite to win. She signed with Syco Music shortly after, and released her debut studio album, Chapter One (2014), which reached number one in the UK. The album spawned the chart-topping single "Ghost", as well as the top 20 singles "Glow" and "Yours". Henderson went on a four-year hiatus in 2015. Her second studio album, Everything I Didn't Say, was released in 2022.
Bleta "Bebe" Rexha, is an American singer and songwriter. After signing with Warner Records in 2013, Rexha first achieved success as a songwriter, with credits on Eminem's single "The Monster" as well as other songs for Shinee, Selena Gomez, and Nick Jonas, among others. Rexha released her debut extended play in 2015, I Don't Wanna Grow Up, which saw moderate commercial success with its singles "I Can't Stop Drinking About You" and "I'm Gonna Show You Crazy".
"Super Love" is a song by Australian recording artist Dami Im. It was written by Hayley Aitken, Johan Gustafson, Fredrik Häggstam and Sebastian Lundberg, and produced by the latter three with Tom Coyne. "Super Love" was released on 16 May 2014, as the lead single from Im's third studio album Heart Beats. The song is dedicated to her husband Noah Kim because of the sacrifices he has made for her career. Musically, "Super Love" is an uptempo dance-pop and synthpop song that incorporates elements of R&B. While Im's previous self-titled debut album consisted of cover songs she performed on The X Factor Australia, Heart Beats features a mixture of original ballads and up-tempo pop songs. Im worked on the album with many songwriters and producers, including Robby De Sa, Jon Hume, Christian Lo Russo, Louis Schoorl, DNA Songs, Trinity and Hayley Warner.

Camp Cope were an Australian alternative rock band formed in 2015 in Melbourne, Victoria. The group's lineup consisted of lead singer, songwriter and guitarist Georgia "Georgia Maq" McDonald, bassist Kelly-Dawn "Kelso" Hellmrich, and drummer Sarah "Thomo" Thompson. The band were signed with independent Melbourne label Poison City Records, where Thompson also works, and independent Boston label Run for Cover Records distributed their releases in North America and Europe. In February 2023, Camp Cope announced their imminent disbandment with a series of final performances.

Her album Love Monster debuted at number 1 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Natalie Dunn is a singer, songwriter, and artist from Queensland, Australia. Primarily a songwriter, she has gained notoriety for writing for artists like Marshmello, Anne-Marie, Kygo, Rita Ora, Hayden James, Duke Dumont, and Charli XCX, among others. She had a major success with the song "FRIENDS" performed by Anne-Marie & Marshmello, which peaked at Number 11 on the Billboard Top 100 in the summer of 2018 and surpassed 1 Billion views on YouTube. Dunn also worked on "Carry On" for the 2019 film Detective Pikachu. The song peaked at number three on the ARIA Dance Singles chart in May 2019.
I Hear a Song is the fifth studio album by Australian recording artist Dami Im released on 23 March 2018 by Sony Music Australia. The album is made up of 12 cover songs and 2 original tracks. The album was announced on 16 February 2018 with Im saying “Before you listen to the album it might look like an unusual combination of songs but I recorded every tune with the same desire, which was to share the stories of these amazing women, the most raw and simple way, through a microphone and my fingers on the black and white keys." In April, Im said: "You wouldn't call it like a serious jazz record, but it has that flavour, it has all that vibe that I used to have before this pop thing came along."
Live Sessions EP is the third extended play by Australian singer Dami Im, released on 11 January 2019 by Sony Music Australia. Upon announcement, Im said "I love performing my songs live. It's the only time I can connect with each person on such an intimate level as I share the deepest parts of me." Pre-orders of the EP came with the instant-grat track "Dreamer".
