Leslie Sebastian Charles,, better known by his stage name Billy Ocean, is a British recording artist who had a string of R&B international pop hits in the 1970s and 1980s. He was the most popular British R&B singer-songwriter of the early to mid- 1980s. After he had scored his first four UK top-20 singles, including No. 2 hits in 1976 and 1977, seven years passed before he accumulated a series of transatlantic successes, including three US number ones. Released in late 1985, his hit "When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going" peaked in 1986, reaching No. 1 in the UK and No. 2 in the US. Sean Carey is an American musician from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, best known as the drummer and supporting vocalist of indie folk band Bon Iver. In August 2010, Carey released his first solo album, All We Grow, which he began working on in 2008 during hiatuses from performing with the band.
Yellow Bird Project is a company that collaborates with indie bands to raise money for charity, primarily through the sale of T-shirts. They approach indie bands, asking them to choose a charity and submit an original design. Each design is then printed onto T-shirts and sold exclusively through the YBP website to raise money for the charity of the artist's choosing. Some of the bands which they have collaborated with include Andrew Bird, Bloc Party, Bon Iver, Broken Social Scene, Devendra Banhart, and The National. Over the years, the company has diversified to include book publishing, album releases and film projects. Nostalgia, Ultra is the debut mixtape by American singer-songwriter Frank Ocean. It was released on February 16, 2011. Ocean was inspired to make the mixtape after Hurricane Katrina in his native New Orleans and his subsequent relocation to Los Angeles. After joining alternative hip hop group Odd Future in 2010, he self-released the mixtape, without initial promotion. Nostalgia, Ultra has a unique R&B aesthetic and features surreal themes and nostalgic lyrics. The songs mostly focus on interpersonal relationships, personal reflection, and social commentary. Following its release, the mixtape received rave reviews from music critics. The cover features a picture of a bright orange BMW E30 M3, Ocean's "dream car", in plain sight amidst lush greenery.
"Thinkin Bout You" is a song by American singer Frank Ocean, released as the lead single from his debut studio album Channel Orange (2012). The song was written by Ocean and co-written by Islands label songwriter Jeneen Majasty. Originally to be featured on Bridget Kelly's debut album, Ocean released his demo version of the track for free on his Tumblr account in 2011. In May 2012, the song was officially sent to radio and released on iTunes as a single by Ocean. Kelly released her version of the track entitled "Thinking About Forever" on her debut EP Every Girl released October 19, 2011.

PeteStrumentals 2 is the third instrumental hip hop album by hip hop producer Pete Rock. The album was released on June 23, 2015, under Mello Music Group. The album was released a day after Pete's 45th birthday and it serves as a sequel to 2001's PeteStrumentals. The track listing on the album features 20 instrumental tracks that was either unreleased or made by Pete himself. This would be Rock's first instrumental album since 2005's The Surviving Elements: From Soul Survivor II Sessions in nearly over 10 years. A music video for "Cosmic Slop" was also released on YouTube by Mello Music Group. During the release of PeteStrumentals 2, a mixtape called PeteStrumentals 2 The Official J. Rocc Mix was also released as a digital downloadable mp3 format, which it was mixed by J. Rocc paying homage to Pete's latest album. According to Rock, the project PeteStrumentals 3 which features no rapping and no samples, was released on December 11, 2020, on Tru Soul records. It includes Rock's band called "The Soul Brothers", which will provide live band playing as instrumental beats.
