I Remember is a studio album by American recording artist Meli'sa Morgan, released in 2005 and issued by Lu Ann/Orpheus Records. The album consist of three covers produced by Valerie Simpson and Nickolas Ashford, as well as new songs produced by Morgan and longtime collaborator Lesette Wilson. The album's lead single "Back Together Again" is a ballad duet with R&B singer Freddie Jackson. [1]

Ashford & Simpson were an American husband-and-wife songwriting-production team and recording duo of Nickolas Ashford and Valerie Simpson.
The Rose That Grew from Concrete is a posthumous album based on the poetry/writings of Tupac Amaru Shakur, released in 2000. This album features a large cast of celebrities reading Shakur's poetry and writing, much in the spirit of a traditional spoken word album. 2Pac is featured on the song "The Rose That Grew from Concrete". These vocals were remixed onto the track from the 2Pac song entitled "Mama's Just A Little Girl" that was recorded in 1996 and released in 2002 on the album "Better Dayz".
Joyce Melissa "Meli'sa" Morgan is an American R&B/Soul singer–songwriter. Morgan had a string of urban contemporary hits starting the mid–1980s through the mid–1990s. Morgan most notable songs includes her cover version of Prince's "Do Me, Baby" (1985), "Do You Still Love Me" (1986) and "Still in Love With You" (1992). Born in Queens, New York, Morgan got her start in the music industry while singing with a church gospel choir called the Starlets of Corona. Morgan cites Chaka Khan as a major influence.
