Ian Sneddon (born 30 November 1946) is a Scottish former professional footballer, who played for Heart of Midlothian, Denver Dynamos and Morton. [1] [2]
In 1977, he played in Canada in the National Soccer League with Windsor Stars. [3]
Gilbert Saint Elmo Heron was a Jamaican professional footballer. He was the first black player to play for Scottish club Celtic and was the father of poet and musician Gil Scott-Heron.
David Craig Mackay was a Scottish football player and manager. Mackay was best known for a highly successful playing career with Heart of Midlothian, the Double-winning Tottenham Hotspur side of 1961, and winning the league with Derby County as a manager. Thomas McLean Jr. is a Scottish former professional football player and manager. McLean played for Kilmarnock, Rangers and Scotland as a midfielder. He managed Morton, Motherwell, Hearts, Raith Rovers and Dundee United.

The 1977 National Soccer League season was the fifty-fourth season under the National Soccer League (NSL) name.
