Iara Dias dos Santos (born 11 September 1983) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter. [1] She moved to Finland in 2014 to start a professional career in the music industry. She was selected to take part on The Voice of Finland in 2017 (6th Season). [2] In her blind audition, she sang Corinne Bailey Rae's song "Put Your Records On" and two coaches turned the chair for her. Anna Puu and Olli Lindholm. She chose to take part on Anna's team. [3]
Iara was born in the University city of Viçosa - Minas Gerais State, and has lived there until she finished her bachelor's degree in Management and International trade. She has lived and worked in Vitória (Espírito Santo) and Belo Horizonte (Minas Gerais) before she moved to Finland. [4] In Vitória (Brazil), Iara took part (2010-2011) of a popular local samba band Regional da Nair, playing a percussion instrument. [1] After moving to Belo Horizonte (Brazil), she made a few guest appearances in the local samba circuit.
In Joensuu (Finland), she performed a few times in small gatherings like pikkujoulu (little Christmas party) and birthday parties, local pubs and she is working on her first EP to be released in the summer 2017. [1] Before taking part of The Voice of Finland, Iara took part at Joensuun Konservatorio (Conservatory of Joensuu) as a classical singing student in 2014. [4] She graduated in International Project Management at TAMK (Tampere University of Applied Sciences) in December 2016, focusing her master thesis in the music industry. [4]
Iara's audition for the Voice of Finland was aired on 10 February 2017 and two coaches turned their chair for her performance of Corinne Bailey Rae's song "Put Your Records On". She could choose between Anna Puu and Olli Lindholm and she chose to be part of the team Anna Puu. Redrama said Iara has something on her voice that can't be taught. She was born with it. She needed a help with technique and she could get that from the show. Anna Puu also complimented her voice saying: "I like the colour of your sound". She noticed that Iara was nervous but they could see her potential. Michael Monroe commented that it was great to have Iara on the show and that she has done a fantastic job. [3]
On the battle round aired on 24 February, Iara and her teammate Mariia Kharlamova interpreted Ellie Goulding's song "Love Me Like You Do" and in a very solid performance, Iara won her coach's preference and remains on Anna Puu's team, who said she was following her intuition. Mariia Kharlamova was saved by Redrama and continues in the competition as well. [5]

Qstock is an annual two-day music festival held at the end of July in Oulu, Finland. The festival lineup includes some of the biggest names in both the domestic and international music scene, regardless of the genre. The first Qstock festival was organised in 2003. Michael Ekeghasi also known as "ME" is a Finland-based Nigerian singer and songwriter. Michael first gained popularity in 2016 for his cover of the Finnish rock band Eppu Normaali, titled "Joka päivä ja jokaikinen yö" which became a hit on Facebook and was featured on Soundi.fi, the website for Finland's largest music magazine. He was also a contestant on season 6 of The Voice of Finland (2017) where he reached the knockout stage of the competition.
Priscila Rezende is a performance artist who lives and works in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She received a degree in Visual Arts from Guignard-UEMG School in Belo Horizonte, specializing in Photography and Ceramics. Her work departs from her experiences as a Black woman to examine and challenge discourses of racism in Brazil. She explores the legacy of Transatlantic African slavery and plantation economies, as well as anti-black racism in beauty standards. She has shown work at the Museu de Arte da Pampulha (2013), Rabieh Gallery in São Paulo (2014), SAVVY Contemporary in Berlin (2016), Sesc Palladium in Belo Horizonte (2017), and at the Performe-se Festival in Vitoria. In 2018, she was an artist in Residence at CMC/SESC at Central Saint Martins in London and at Art Omi in Ghent, New York. Though she primarily works through performance, she has also produced "Bargain" (2017), a video work.
Ângela Maria Cardoso Lago was a Brazilian children's author and illustrator of poems dedicated to children. She began drawing at the age of three and spent time in the United States, Venezuela and Scotland early in her career. Lago published her first book in 1980 and her last in 2016. She was named the winner of the Best Illustrated Book Award which is issued by the Fundación Nacional del Libros Infantil y Juvenil de Brasil in both 1984 and 1986 and the 1995 and 2007 Biennial of Illustration Bratislava for her books Festa no Céu: Um Conto do Nosso Folclor and Joao Felizardo o rei dos negocios respectively. Lago was also named a recipient of the Jabuti Prize for Literature in each of 1993, 1994, 1995, 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2005.

She served as a city councilor in Belo Horizonte representing the Socialism and Liberty Party (PSOL). Isabella also held the position of president of the city section of PSOL and was an active member of the Brigadas Populares, advocating for the right to the city. Notably, she became the first openly lesbian city councilor in Belo Horizonte. She was elected as a State Representative of Minas Gerais in 2022.
