Icrave (styled ICRAVE) is an innovation and design studio [1] founded in 2002 by Canadian-born designer Lionel Ohayon. [2] Conceived as a design and brand strategy company, the studio's projects were predominantly in nightlife sector, including lounges and clubs in Manhattan, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. [3] The studio's nightlife work has contributed to the gentrification and popularization of New York City's Meatpacking District. [4]
Over the past decade, the studio has designed hospitality spaces, [5] including restaurants, [6] bars, casinos, [7] and hotels. [8] Working with The One Group, ICRAVE developed the STK [9] steakhouse brand with 7 locations across the US. The steakhouse brand went public in 2015. The firm is now developing STK's sister brand, STK Rebel. [10] The first location will open in Miami in 2016.
In 2008, the studio designed JetBlue Terminal 5 at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, [11] incorporating technology into the gate hold areas and dining spaces. [12] Touch screen monitors expedited food service, reduce passenger anxiety, and monetized previously underutilized gate hold areas. Today, their roster of airport work spans dozens of venues across North America. [13] [14] [15] [16]
The studio's capabilities have evolved to include brand strategy, product design, and graphic design. [17] The studio has been tasked to create identities and collateral [18] for client projects ranging from logos to marketing materials to staff uniforms. In 2012, Icrave established an in-house lighting department, [19] Icrave Lighting (styled ICRAVE LIGHTING), to consult across all projects.
In recent years, Icrave's project roster has expanded to new sectors including healthcare, [20] higher education, and residential developments. [21] For the past two years, Icrave has been working with Memorial Sloan Kettering on two ambulatory care centers in New York's Upper East Side. The Josie Robertson Surgery Center is slated to open in early 2016. [22]
Icrave's work has been recognized with numerous industry accolades from Architizer, Travel + Leisure, Frommer's, [23] Fodor's, International Design, International Interior Design, Hospitality Design, [24] Restaurant & Bar Design, and Hamptons Cottages and Gardens. [25] [26]
Gallagher's Steakhouse is a steakhouse restaurant at 228 West 52nd Street in the Theater District in Manhattan, New York City. It was founded in November 1927 by Helen Gallagher, a former Ziegfeld girl, and wife of Edward Gallagher (1873–1929), and Jack Solomon, a colorful gambler with a large loyal following from the sporting element. These were the days of Prohibition and Gallagher's was one of the first speakeasy gathering places for gamblers, sports figures, and stars of Broadway. There is now a location in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
Jean-Georges Vongerichten is a French chef. Vongerichten owns restaurants in Miami Beach, Las Vegas, London, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo, as well as New York's Jean-Georges restaurant and Tangará Jean Georges in São Paulo's Palácio Tangará, by Oetker Collection. He is head chef of Eden Rock, St Barths. Vongerichten is the author of five cookbooks, two with Mark Bittman.
Smith & Wollensky is the name of several high-end American steakhouses, with locations in New York, Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Miami Beach, Las Vegas, London, and the most recently opened, Taipei. The first Smith and Wollensky steakhouse was founded in 1977 by Alan Stillman, best known for creating T.G.I. Friday's, and Ben Benson, in a distinctive building on 49th Street and 3rd Avenue in New York, once occupied by Manny Wolf's Steakhouse. Many of the restaurants have a wooden exterior with its trademark green and white colors. The individual Smith and Wollensky restaurants operate using slightly varied menus. In 1997, Ruth Reichl, then-restaurant reviewer for The New York Times, called Smith & Wollensky "A steakhouse to end all arguments." Smith & Wollensky is owned by the Patina Restaurant Group.
Adam D. Tihany is a hospitality designer based in New York. He founded the multidisciplinary design firm Tihany Design in 1978, and is considered the origin of the title "restaurant designer". His firm has designed hotel and dining properties at many notable properties around the world. Tihany was named one of the greatest American interior architects by The New York Times in 2001.

The Gansevoort Meatpacking NYC Hotel or Hotel Gansevoort is a luxury hotel located at 18 Ninth Avenue between Little West 12th Street and 13th Street in the Meatpacking District neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. The building, which was completed in 2004, and with the completion of a renovation in 2021, the property has 187 rooms and 23 suites and features a rooftop pool and bar, among other amenities.

The Lexington Hotel, Autograph Collection is a hotel at 509 Lexington Avenue, at the southeast corner with 48th Street, in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. The 27-story hotel was designed by Schultze & Weaver in the Romanesque Revival style and contains 725 rooms. The Lexington, one of several large hotels developed around Grand Central Terminal as part of Terminal City, is a New York City designated landmark.

Marilyn Jordan Taylor is an American architect, who has been a partner at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill since the early 1980s and served as its first female chairman. She specializes in urban architectural projects and designed the master plan for the Manhattanville expansion, the Consolidated Edison East River Greenway as well as airports from the John F. Kennedy International Airport terminal 4 expansion to the SkyCity at the Hong Kong International Airport. Between 2008 and 2016, she served as the Dean of the University of Pennsylvania School of Design.

TWA Hotel is a hotel at John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens, New York City, that opened on May 15, 2019. It uses the head house of the TWA Flight Center, designed by the architect Eero Saarinen and completed in 1962, and two flanking buildings added for the hotel project. It contains a total of 512 rooms, as well as conference space, several restaurants, and an aviation history museum.

Simon Kim is a Korean-American restaurateur who owns and operates COTE Korean Steakhouse, a restaurant with locations in New York, Miami and Singapore. COTE New York has received a star from the Michelin Guide each year since opening in 2017. Kim's original “Korean Steakhouse” concept combines Korean barbecue with an American steakhouse experience and was inspired by his dual nationalities. Crain’s New York named Kim as one of their “40 Under 40” business leaders in 2019. In 2021, the National Restaurant Association, which represents 1 million restaurant and foodservice outlets and a workforce of 15.6 million employees, elected Kim to serve on their board.
STK Steakhouse is a modern steakhouse-lounge restaurant chain. They are owned by The ONE Group, a global hospitality company that also owns Kona Grill.
