Id (stylised as ID) is the debut album of the Slovenian rock band Siddharta, released on 27 May 1999. It was named after Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytical theory of personality. [3]

Slovenia, officially the Republic of Slovenia, is a country located in Europe at the crossroads of main European cultural and trade routes. It is bordered by Italy to the southwest, Austria to the north, Hungary to the northeast, Croatia to the southeast, and the Adriatic Sea to the southwest. Slovenia covers 20,273 square kilometers (7,827 sq mi) and has a population of 2.084 million. One of the successor states of the former Yugoslavia, Slovenia is now a parliamentary republic and member nation of the European Union, United Nations, and NATO. The capital and largest city is Ljubljana.
Primož Trubar or Primus Truber was a Slovene Protestant Reformer of the Lutheran tradition, mostly known as the author of the first Slovene language printed book, the founder and the first superintendent of the Protestant Church of the Duchy of Carniola, and for consolidating the Slovene language. Trubar introduced Lutheranism in Slovenia, but after the Austrian Habsburgs introduced the Counter-Reformation only a small community remained. Trubar is a key figure of Slovene history and in many aspects a major historical personality.
Murat & Jose are a Slovene hip hop duo of writers, producers and MC. Both were born in 1978 in Ljubljana, Slovenia where they still live. Together with Nikolovski they performed for some time under the name Nedotakljivi. Together they published one of their first releases on the first Slovene hip hop compilation 5'00" of Fame za narodov blagor.
Siddharta is a five-piece Slovenian alternative rock band formed in 1995. They are named after a novel by the German writer Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha.
Niet is a former punk rock and hardcore punk band from Ljubljana, Slovenia. They were one of the most iconic and influential music groups of the Slovenian punk movement and the punk rock in Yugoslavia in general. The band was active from 1983 to 1988, from 1993 to 1994 and 2008 to 2017.
Šank Rock or Shank Rock, is a five-piece Slovenian rock group from Velenje, formed in 1982. Their first album Pridite na žur was released in 1987. The band was on hiatus from 1999 to 2002. In 2006 the band separated with their guitarist Bor Zuljan and replaced him with Rok Petkovič, with whom they made their 14th album Senca sebe which received a lot of success. In January 2011, the bassist Cvetko Polak and the singer Matjaž Jelen left the group because of disagreements. The group disbanded after that. The group reassembled in 2014 with a different line-up.

Brdo-Brijuni Process is an annual multilateral event in the Western Balkans. It was initiated in 2013 by President of Slovenia Borut Pahor and President of Croatia Ivo Josipović. First official meeting was in Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia. Main focus of the Process is the enlargement of the EU with countries of the Western Balkans. Similar meetings were held at the prime-ministerial level in 2010 and 2011 by then-Prime Ministers of Slovenia and Croatia, Borut Pahor and Jadranka Kosor. Brdo-Brijuni process includes Slovenia and Croatia and candidates and potential candidates for EU membership from the Western Balkans.
