Idols Denmark (season 2) was the second season of Idols Denmark . Rikke Emma Niebuhr won over Louise Baltzer Jensen.

Idols: Ærlig Jagt. Ægte Talent. was the Danish version of the worldwide TV format Pop Idol which was broadcast on TV3 Danmark. There were only two seasons for the show. The winners were Christian Mendoza in 2003 and Rikke Emma Niebuhr in 2004. The program was canceled due to weak viewership.

Rikke Emma Niebuhr is a singer who rose to popularity as the winner of Idols Denmark 2, the Danish version of Pop Idol. Rikke won with 65% of the total vote against Louise Baltzer Jensen.

  • Immediately after the broadcast, TV3 became aware that some viewers had major problems getting through their SMS votes. Since then, it has regrettably been shown that it has in fact been about many more viewers who could not get through to the vote due to a cable breach. Therefore, TV3 decided that Louise would get another chance in the competition.

Malaysian Idol television series

Malaysian Idol is the Malaysian version of the Idol Series that started in UK, similar to shows such as UK's Pop Idol and American Idol in the franchise. NZ Idol, more commonly known as New Zealand Idol, was the New Zealand version of the Idol series originated as the hit British TV series Pop Idol. After Australian Idol also received good ratings in New Zealand, TVNZ decided to order the first season of NZ Idol, which was broadcast on TV2. The tenth season of American Idol premiered on January 19, 2011 and concluded on May 25, 2011, on the Fox television network. The show underwent a number of changes from the ninth season, including the return of Nigel Lythgoe as executive producer. Idols South Africa V was the fifth season of South African reality interactive talent show based on the British talent show Pop Idol. It premiered on Sunday, 1 February 2009, with a summer vibe and new rules. Instead of the search happening in autumn–winter as with previous seasons, the auditions began in mid-December and run through the holiday season.

Idols South Africa III was the third season of South African reality interactive talent show based on the British talent show Pop Idol. It was running from August to November 2005. All four judges returned for another season. After one season Letoya Makhen left the show making Colin Moss the only host similar to Ryan Seacrest on American Idol. For the first time the semifinal groups where divided into genders. As there were only six males who made it to the top 24, only one group was male though. This resulted in a top 12 with only two males for a second year in a row. There was no wildcard show held. Instead the judges each chose one contestant who was not voted in the top 12 directly in the group phase. Viewer outrage ensued following the elimination of Nhlanhla Mwelse after it was revealed that the 4 judges had a 49% leverage to the total weekly votes & that this happened since the start of the semi finals. Before the series started, it was portrayed that the viewers would account for 100% of the total vote this year compared to the judges' 40% in season 1 & 2. Karin Kortje, a young mother from Grabouw, Cape Town wowed the audience and judges with her big voice and won the final against Gift Gwe with 62.58% and was also leading throughout the competition by a landside. However Kortje was not so lucky in her personal life after the contest ended as her boyfriend was charged of robbery and murder just months after the show. In difference to the other finalists of her season, Kortje was not invited to take part of the final of the next season.
