If It Were You, We'd Never Leave is the second studio album by American DJ Andrew Bayer, released on April 22, 2013 on Anjunabeats. [1] [2] Bayer described the album as a concept album, centered around the premise of being the soundtrack for a person's day, as opposed to his other work at that point, which was recorded more for play in dance clubs. Stephen Worthy of Mojo said that the album "doesn't lack for ambition. If It Were You, We'd Never Leave bats back and forth from homespun laptop beats to full orchestral productions, glitch-hop to opulent Sigur Rósesque wall of sound." Worthy noted that "Gold Panda's folktronic transmissions are an obvious parallel" and concluded by calling the album "a warm-hearted record that splices modern romantic classicisms to cut'n'paste MacBook pyrotechnics". [4] Joe Muggs of Q noted that "if it occasionally veers into high-class holiday programme soundtrack territory, it is just as often take-your-breath-away beautiful". [5] Consequence of Sound 's Derek Staples noted the change in sound for Bayer, describing it as "an album you repeatedly pull to ease personal hardship not spark dancefloor undulations", while still conceding that it was still built on some of the similar approach of his prior work, such as "utiliz[ing] simple tools to create complex, emotionally powerful movements." [6] In the Mix stated "there’s a gob-smacking amount of sonic experimentation...though Bayer’s real achievement is how he’s managed to weave all this stuttering, jittery white sound into something that carries so much musicality." Matt and Kim are an American indie electronic duo from Brooklyn, New York City. The group formed in 2004 and consists of Matt Johnson (vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums). Tomorrow's Harvest is the fourth studio album by Scottish electronic music duo Boards of Canada, released on 10 June 2013 by Warp. The duo began composing and recording the album following the release of The Campfire Headphase in 2005 and the expansion of their studio at Hexagon Sun near the Pentland Hills. They continued recording intermittently until late 2012, when large parts of the album were recorded. Influenced by film soundtracks from the 1970s and 1980s, Tomorrow's Harvest features a more menacing and foreboding tone than the duo’s previous works, highlighting themes of isolation and decay.

Reggae Owes Me Money is the debut album by British duo The Ragga Twins, produced by hardcore duo Shut Up and Dance and released on the latter's record label of the same name. After establishing themselves as dancehall artists from the Unity soundsystem in the 1980s, the Ragga Twins switched direction in the early 1990s, combining into a duo after signing to Shut Up & Dance's label. The production duo stirred the Ragga Twins' change in direction, fusing their previous reggae and dancehall style into the Shut Up & Dance rave dance style.
