Ifeanyi Ndukwe (born 3 March 2008) is an Austrian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Austrian Bundesliga club Austria Wien. He is an Austrian youth international. [1]

Early life

Ndukwe was born in Vienna to a Nigerian father and Russian mother. [2] His elder brother, Obinna Ndukwe  [ de ] is a basketball player. [3]

Club career

Ndukwe started his career at WAF Brigittenau before joining Austria Vienna academy in 2016. [4] He captained Austria Vienna at under-16 level, prior to beginning a regular starter for Austria Vienna II in the 2024–25 season, where they secured promotion to the 2. Liga. He signed a three-year professional contract with the club in June 2025. [5] In January 2026, Ndukwe was linked to a move to Premier League club Liverpool, with reports that he would link up with the club in the summer of 2026, after turning 18 in March 2026, with a potential fee rising to £2.5m should add-ons be triggered. International career

Ndukwe was a member of the Austria national under-17 football team who reached the final of the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar in November 2025. [5]
