Ignacio Conti (born 5 November 1977) is a Uruguayan former rugby union player who played as lock or as number eight.
At club level, Conti played for Carrasco Polo Club. His first cap for Uruguay was on 22 September 2002, against Namibia, in Montevideo. He was also part of the 2003 Rugby World Cup Uruguay squad, where he only played the match against Samoa. His last cap for Uruguay was against Scotland A, in Bucharest, on 16 June 2009. [2]

His 2010 move to Racing brought him back to the city where he had begun his professional career in 2003 with Stade Français. He has also played in the South African Currie Cup with the Sharks, and was slated to play with the Sharks in Super Rugby in 2010, but suffered a back injury that knocked him out of the Super Rugby season. Hernández is a "utility back" capable of playing at fly-half, centre, or fullback, though he generally prefers fly-half.
