Ilona Szwarc

Ilona Szwarc (b. 1984, Warsaw) is a Polish photographer now residing in the United States. She attended School of Visual Arts and Yale University. [1] [2] In 2013 she assembled her series American Girls [3] The series consists of 100 photographs created with a 4x5 large format camera. [4] In 2015 she created the magazine I am a Woman and I Feast on Memory. [5] [3] [6]

In 2013 she received a third place World Press Photo prize, in the Observed Portraits category. [7] In 2014 she received the Arnold Newman Prize for New Directions in Photographic Portraiture. In 2015 she was awarded the Richard Benson Prize for Excellence in Photography and in 2020 she was a finalist for a Hopper Prize [1] In 2017 she was included in the FOAM Talent London exhibition (for artists under the age of 35). [8]

Her work is in the Yale University Art Gallery, [5] and the National Museum of Women in the Arts (NMWA) [9]

Ina Jang is a photographer based out of Brooklyn, New York. She received her BFA in photography in 2010 from the School of the Visual Arts in New York City. In 2012, she completed the school's MPS program in fashion photography. Ina Jang is represented by Foley Gallery.

Anne Collier is an American visual artist working with appropriated photographic images. Describing Collier's work in Frieze art magazine, writer Brian Dillon said, "Collier uncouples the machinery of appropriation so that her found images seem weightless, holding their obvious meaning in abeyance."

Vibeke Tandberg is a Norwegian photographer known for using herself as the subject of her work. In 2002 she had a solo exhibition at C/O Berlin. In 2003 she created a series of photographs entitled "Undo" consisting of self-portraits taken while she was pregnant. In 2017 Tandberg was the recipient of a Lorck Schive Kunstpris. In 2018 her work was included in the show Journeys with “the Waste Land” at the Turner Contemporary gallery.
