Imperial Leisure are a ska / rock band from London, England. Influences include The Specials, Beastie Boys, Rage Against the Machine, Madness, Ozomatli, and Youngblood Brass Band.
Imperial Leisure started in 2001 as a 10 piece band. Previous to this, the eight members (Denis, Ben, Jeremy, Billy, Scott, AJ, Dan and Stu) where playing in a band called 'Chewbacca'. The name changed to Imperial Leisure when they added two brass players (Rob - Trumpet and Mark - Trombone).
Imperial Leisure signed to 'Primary Talent' (live music agent) and 'Crucible Management' (band management) in 2004. Their first release was the CD EP Untouchable on Dirty Records in 2005. The next release was a limited edition vinyl "Great British Summertime" and single "Man On The Street" on ORG Records.
In 2007, Imperial Leisure and their management company set up their own record label and music company, Steamroller Music Ltd. Employing other industry professionals and securing private investment for the support of the forthcoming release of their début album.
In 2008 they released four singles with national and local radio play (including BBC Radio One, BBC 6 Music, XFM, Absolute Radio). During this year Imperial Leisure also played many small festivals across the UK and larger ones including the Dance Stage at Glastonbury and the Red Bull stage at Bestival. The Art Of Saying Nothing was Imperial Leisure's first album released on Steamroller Music. The album launch took place at The Scala live venue in London, England.
In 2012, second album, Death to the One Trick Pony, was released to mixed reviews. [2]
In 2015, third album, Lifestyle Brand, was released along with a new line up. It brought back the party atmosphere, incorporating the various styles of the new band members. [3]
2018 saw the release of the single "Rrrrrollin". This was tied into the 10 year anniversary tour of the first album (The Art of Saying Nothing), [4] which saw headline slots at the O2 Academies in Oxford, Birmingham, Newcastle and Islington (London). For the London show there were 17 people on stage. [5] Ex-members Stu Maxwell, Adrian White, Ben Webb and Jeremy Mudunkotuwe joined the current line up on stage for the set, and MC Lazy Habits guested in the encore.
Imperial Leisure performed their final show at O2 Academy Islington on 20 December 2019.
On 30 December 2021, the band will mark their return with a performance at The Fleece in Bristol.
From 2022 onwards they performed at small shows and free events and festivals
Terrorvision are an English rock band. They were formed in 1987 in Keighley, West Yorkshire, England, and initially disbanded in 2001. The band used Bradford as a base after the name change to Terrorvision in 1991, by which time the band members had all moved there.

Biffy Clyro are a Scottish rock band that formed in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, composed of Simon Neil and twin brothers James and Ben Johnston. Currently signed to 14th Floor Records, they have released nine studio albums, and following their first three albums, the band expanded their following significantly in 2007 with the release of their fourth album Puzzle, which peaked at No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and was awarded a Platinum certification by the BPI.
Bros are an English band formed in 1986 in Camberley, Surrey. The band originally consisted of twin brothers Matt and Luke Goss, and their friend Craig Logan, who attended Collingwood School in Camberley. The band was managed by former Pet Shop Boys manager Tom Watkins. They achieved chart success and a large teenage fanbase in 1988 with songs such as "When Will I Be Famous" and "I Owe You Nothing". Early the following year, Logan quit the band and the Goss twins continued as a duo. After two more albums the band split up in 1992.
The Subways are an English rock band from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. Formed in 2002, the band consists of Billy Lunn, Charlotte Cooper, and Camille Phillips (drums). Founding member and original drummer Josh Morgan left the band for personal reasons in October 2020.

Revolution in Me is the debut solo album by Siobhán Donaghy, on 29 September 2003. The album debuted, and peaked, at #117 on the UK Albums Chart. Her forename is stylised as 'Siobhan' for this album, as opposed to the correct styling of 'Siobhán'. The album was reviewed well in European countries, including Sweden and Finland. Two singles were released from the album: "Overrated" and "Twist of Fate".
Little Man Tate are a British four-piece indie rock band from Sheffield, England who formed in 2005. The band quickly began attracting interest from several record labels and in March 2006 signed to V2 Records. Their fifth single, "Sexy in Latin" was released on 22 January 2007 and became their highest-charting single to date. The band parted ways with their label in November 2007 following the acquisition of V2 by Universal Music Group and subsequently signed with Skint Records.
The Sunshine Underground were an English alternative dance band based in Leeds, England. Their style developed from indie, alternative to electronic music, and they released four full-length albums; Raise the Alarm (2006), Nobody's Coming to Save You (2010), The Sunshine Underground (2014) and their farewell album, Luminescent (2016). The group, named after a song from the 1999 album Surrender by The Chemical Brothers, were often associated with the British nu-rave scene of 2006 and built a respectable live following after years of touring.
The Maccabees were an English indie rock band, formed in 2004 in London. They released four albums: Colour It In in 2007, followed by Wall of Arms in 2009, Given to the Wild which was released on 9 January 2012 and their last album Marks to Prove It released on 31 July 2015. The band announced that they decided to disband in August 2016, with farewell gigs in 2017.
The Twang are an English indie rock band, formed in 2004 in Birmingham. The band have released five studio albums - Love It When I Feel Like This (2007), Jewellery Quarter (2009), 10:20 (2012), Neon Twang (2014), If Confronted Just Go Mad (2019) and a B-sides compilation, Subscription (2017). Consisting of vocalist and guitarist Phil Etheridge, bassist Jon Watkin, guitarist Stu Hartland, drummer Ash Sheehan, and new backing singers Cat Mctigue and Rio Hellyer, the band garnered national acclaim when NME magazine produced an article on music acts in the West Midlands. The band's original line-up consisted of Etheridge and Saunders, Watkin, Hartland & Matty Clinton on drums.
The Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, commonly referred to as Voodoo or Voodoo Fest, was a multi-day music and arts festival held in City Park in New Orleans, Louisiana. First started in 1999, it was last held in October 2019, after being canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic, and canceled in 2022 without explanation.
The Ting Tings are an English indie pop duo formed in Salford, Greater Manchester, in 2007. The band consists of Katie White and Jules De Martino.
The Tangled Up Tour was the fourth concert tour by English-Irish girl group Girls Aloud. It supported their fourth studio album Tangled Up. Tour dates were announced in November 2007. Girls Aloud performed twenty-four shows at arenas across the United Kingdom and Ireland, making this tour their third to reach arenas. The tour commenced in Belfast on 3 May 2008 and concluded in Birmingham on 4 June. Girls Aloud also performed eleven open-air concerts over the summer.
Katie Rebecca White is an English musician and member of the pop duo The Ting Tings. After some success with a girl group punk trio TKO, which supported Steps and Atomic Kitten, her father David White brought in Jules De Martino to write songs for TKO. Katie White and De Martino subsequently formed the Ting Tings in 2007. The duo formed a romantic and musical partnership.
RSJ were an English metalcore band from York, England.
Esprit D'Air is a British-Japanese progressive metal band formed in London in 2010 with members from Japan and England. In 2013, the band increased in popularity as their single "Shizuku" became the first playable song in the J-rock category in the video game Rock Band 3 but disbanded in the same year as members went back to Japan. Since reforming in 2016, Kai appoints session musicians and support members, which included some of the original line-up to perform with him on tour.
