The University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar , formerly known as NWFP University of Engineering and Technology, is a public university located in Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Formerly known as NWFP University of Engineering and Technology until 2010, it an institution of higher learning in Pakistan with a strong emphasis on the development of science and engineering. The university is regarded as one of the best engineering schools in the country and is ranked in 7th position nationwide in the category of "Engineering and Technology" by HEC, the highest governing body of higher education in Pakistan. In addition, the university has been retaining its position among the top institutions of science and engineering in the country for a long time.

He is Fellow of Royal Society (London) and Life Fellow of Kings College, Cambridge University, UK.

Dr. Zabihullah Mojaddidy is an Afghan politician. He served as the Governor of Kabul Province between July 2009 and until resigning in March 2011. His resignation was due to a lack of support from development ministries and the Presidential Palace in regard to his ideas for the reconstruction of Kabul City.
