In.gr is a Greek news site. The site was owned by Lambrakis Press Group, of which the assets were acquired in 2017 by Alter Ego Media S.A. [1] [2] The content is written in the Greek language [3] and the site has existed since November 1999. In.gr is among the most visited news websites in Greece.

During the dictatorship, Athens News was a leading voice against the junta, and its publisher Yannis Horn was jailed and threatened by the dictators.

4Ta Nea is a daily newspaper published in Athens. It was owned by Lambrakis Press Group (DOL), which also published the newspaper To Vima. The assets of DOL were acquired in 2017 by Alter Ego Media S.A.

Ethnikos Piraeus F.C. is a Greek football club based in Piraeus and its parent sports club is Ethnikos OFPF. The club was officially formed on 21 November 1923 as KeravnosPiraeus, but existed unofficially since 1922. One year later the club was renamed to Young Boys Titan, after some players' secession that formed Peiraikos Podosfairikos Omilos. Evangelos (Vangelis) Marinakis, born 30 July 1967) is a Greek businessman and investor, the proprietor and principal shareholder of a number of companies operating in the shipping, media and football sectors. The son of shipowner and politician Miltiadis Marinakis, a native of Crete, he commenced his involvement in the Greek shipping industry in 2005 with the establishment of "Capital Maritime & Trading Corp". In 2010, he made his foray into the realm of professional football by acquiring the majority stake in Olympiacos and subsequently assuming the role of team president. In 2014, he assumed a position within the local government sector, having been elected as a municipal councillor of Piraeus with the "Πειραιάς Νικητής" party. Marinakis has distinguished himself in two fields: shipping and football. In the field of shipping, he has achieved recognition from the British newspaper Lloyd's List, which has included him in its list of the 100 most influential personalities in world shipping since 2010. Currently, he ranks 23rd on this list. Additionally, he spearheaded the Olympiacos team to a European trophy the first and thus far the sole Greek team to achieve such a distinction.

The 2013–14 Football League is the second division of the Greek professional football system and the fourth season under the name Football League after previously being known as Beta Ethniki. This is the first season after 1982–83 that the league has more than one groups. The groups are created based on geographical criteria.
