The Great Sacandaga Lake is a large lake situated in the Adirondack Park in northern New York in the United States. The lake has a surface area of about 41.7 square miles (108 km2) at capacity, and the length is about 29 miles (47 km). The word Sacandaga means "Land of the Waving Grass" in the local native language. The lake is located in the northern parts of Fulton County and Saratoga County near the southern border of the Adirondack Park. A small portion also extends northward into southern Hamilton County. The broader, south end of the lake is northeast of the City of Johnstown and the City of Gloversville. Great Sacandaga Lake is a reservoir created by damming the Sacandaga River. The primary purpose for the creation of the reservoir was to control flooding on the Hudson River and the Sacandaga River, floods which had a historically significant impact on the surrounding communities.
Indian Lake is a 12-mile (19 km) long, 4,255-acre (1,722 ha) reservoir with a southwest to northeast orientation in the towns of Indian Lake and Lake Pleasant in Hamilton County, in the Adirondack Park of New York State, in the United States. The hamlet of Indian Lake is located 2 miles (3.2 km) north of the north end of Indian Lake. New York State Route 30 runs along the west shore of the lake. Most of the shore is part of the Forest Preserve. Indian Lake is fed by the Jessup River, and drains through the Indian River into Lake Abanakee, and from there through the Indian River to the Hudson River.
Saratoga Lake is a lake in the eastern part of Saratoga County, New York. The lake is approximately 4.5 miles (7.2 km) long, about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) wide at its widest point, and about 95 feet (29 m) deep.
North Lake is a lake located by Atwell, New York and is the source of the Black River. North Lake is one of several lakes in Herkimer County that has a medium acid content, and is therefore not a big fish producer. The fish species present are tiger muskie, white sucker, perch, and bullhead. Boating is permitted, limited to a small gravel based boat launch in Atwell.

Red Lake is located by Bartletts Corner, New York. The outlet flows into the Indian River. There is a state owned beach launch on Red Lake Road.
Indian River flows into Black Lake near Rossie, New York. The outlets of Red Lake, Lake of the Woods, and Muskellunge Lake flow into the Indian River. The river is part of the Oswegatchie River watershed.
Lake of the Woods is a lake located by Chapel Corners, New York. The outlet flows into the Indian River. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, lake trout, black crappie, smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, landlocked salmon, whitefish, yellow perch, rock bass, and bluegill. There is a state-owned beach launch on the lake off Cottage Hill Road and there is a 10 horsepower limit.
Payne Lake is located by Oxbow, New York. The outlet creek empties into the Oswegatchie River. Fish species present in the lake are largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, yellow perch, tiger muskie, bluegill, and black crappie. There is a state owned hard surface ramp located west of Oxbow, New York and there is a 10-horsepower limit.
Yellow Lake is located by Wegatchie, New York. The outlet creek empties into the Oswegatchie River. Fish species present in the lake are largemouth bass, black bullhead, northern pike, rock bass, yellow perch, bluegill, and black crappie. There is a state owned carry down located off Yellow Lake Road.
Pleasant Lake is located by Brasie Corners, Macomb, St. Lawrence County, New York. The outlet creek flows into the Indian River.
Kayuta Lake is located northwest of Bardwell Mill, New York. Kayuta Lake Campground is located by the Black River inlet. Fish species present in the lake are smallmouth bass, pickerel, white sucker, rock bass, yellow perch, bluegill, and black bullhead. There is a carry down access on the north shore located on State Dam Road.
Sucker Lake is located by Coffins Mills, New York. The outlet creek flows into the Little River. Fish species present in the lake are white sucker, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, rock bass, and black bullhead. There is a state owned beach launch off Briggs Switch Road. No gas motors allowed on this lake.
Nelson Lake is located south of Minnehaha, New York. The outlet creek flows into Middle Branch Moose River. Fish species present in the lake are white sucker, black bullhead, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, and sunfish. Access via trail off unimproved road from Route 28 on the east shore and via the Middle Branch Moose River.
Horn Lake is a lake located north of Forest Lodge, New York. The outlet creek flows into the Indian River. Fish species present in the lake are pumpkinseed sunfish, and brook trout. There is carry down on the northwest shore via trail. No motors are allowed on Horn Lake.
Adirondack Lake is a lake located north of Indian Lake, New York. The outlet flows through a creek into Lake Abanakee. Fish species present in the lake are northern pike, white sucker, largemouth bass, black bullhead, yellow perch, rock bass, and pumpkinseed sunfish. There is a carry down on the southeast shore off NY-28 near the dam.
G Lake is a lake located west of Higgins Bay, New York. Fish species present in the lake are brook trout, and brown trout. There is carry down off trail from G Lake Road along the west shore. The name is derived from the shape of the body of water, which forms something that resembles a letter “G".
Brant Lake is located by Brant Lake, New York. Fish species present in the lake are largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, brown trout, yellow perch, chain pickerel, smelt, black crappie, rainbow trout, sunfish, and brown bullhead. There is a state owned hard surface ramp located 1 mile northeast of the hamlet of Brant Lake.
South Branch West Canada Creek empties into the West Canada Creek by Nobleboro, New York.
Thirteenth Brook drains Thirteenth Lake and empties into the Hudson River by North River, New York.
