The National Institute on Money in State Politics is an American nonprofit organization that tracks campaign finance data. The organization publishes the Follow The Money website, where it compiles political funding information from government disclosure agencies. The Institute advocates stricter regulation of political donations, including increased disclosure of political spending. The Institute believes that states should require independent political spenders to disclose all information about election-related communications.

The Center for Responsive Politics (CRP) is a non-profit, nonpartisan research group based in Washington, D.C., that tracks the effects of money and lobbying on elections and public policy. It maintains a public online database of its information.
