The IndieGo Alley Festival (read: Indie-go Alley Festival) is a non-profit internacional film and music festival that takes places in Asturias since 2012. [1]
The name of the festival comes from the words "indie" and the colour of the night, "índigo". In November 2012, Palacio Valdés street [2] in Avilés, welcomes the first edition of this festival, groundbreaking as a free outdoors urban festival.
During just a few hours a selection of experimental cinema, short films and videoclips are projected along live performances. [3]
From the very beginning the Official Jury votes for the audiovisual projects (after a previous selection), creating the official program. Those projects with more votes receive the Mención especial del Jurado Oficial (Jury's Special Mention).

He belongs to a new generation of filmmakers from Spain with learning or working experiences internationally and with multicultural influences. Roberto F. Canuto is one of the first European directors to establish stable collaborations within the Chinese industry. Since 2010 he co-directs all his films with the Chinese director Xu Xiaoxi and together open a film production company in China, Almost Red Productions.

Sofía Fernández Castañón is a Spanish poet, writer, audiovisual producer, and politician. She has worked in print, television, and radio, and received several poetry prizes. Since January 2016 she has been a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies for Podemos, representing Asturias, and since 2020 she has served as deputy spokesperson for the Unidas Podemos Confederal Parliamentary Group. In December 2021 she was elected leader of the regional branch of the party, Podemos Asturies.
