The Industrial News was a newspaper serving Iaeger, West Virginia, and surrounding McDowell County. [1] Published weekly, it had a 2016 circulation of 972 and was owned by Moffett Newspapers. [2] It ceased publishing in March 2017. [3]
The paper was started in 1923 [4] by R. R. Cauble, previously of the Miners Journal. [5] Originally published in Coeburn, Virginia, the paper was initially moved to Pocahontas County in early 1926, [6] after its 1925 sale to editor James A. Johnson. [5] It was subsequently moved to Iaeger in September 1926. [4] Johnson, who was made a member of the 50 year club of the West Virginia State Newspaper Council in 1941, sold the paper in 1945 and retired, dying two years later. [7]
The paper does not appear to have ever had a website. In recent years it had been run by Moffett Newspapers, under publisher Melissa Nester. [2]

Garry & Sheffey was a prominent architectural firm from Bluefield, the largest city in southern West Virginia. The named partners were Martin J. Garry and Robert A. Sheffey, who established their partnership in 1920. The firm was active until 1941, and locally was second only to that of Alex. B. Mahood.
The Welland Tribune is a daily newspaper that services Welland, Ontario and surrounding area. The Tribune was one of several Postmedia Network newspapers purchased by Torstar in a transaction between the two companies which concluded on November 27, 2017. The paper continues to be published by the Metroland Media Group subsidiary of Torstar.
