Infinity Ink is a London-based vocal/music production/DJ duo made up of Italian Luca Cazal and British Ali Love. They have released music through Hot Creations, Crosstown Rebels and, most recently, Cooltempo.
Originally they formed the duo The Benedictions, playing 1960s and 1970s folk rock-inspired music on acoustic guitar. [2] The name of the duo Infinity Ink came when the duo were playing in Moldova on their tour. They noticed a nearby factory that was called 'Infinity Inc'. So they adopted the name changing the "c" to a "k", giving it a completely new twist. Infinity Ink found fame through two tracks released in 2012. First was "Games" on the Hot Creations label followed by the single "Infinity" on Crosstown Rebels. [3] Infinity was sampled by "Flo Rida" in his 2013 single "Can't Believe It". The same year, the duo secured a residency for Jamie Jones paradise party at DC10 in Ibiza, [4] a slot that they still play to this day. [5]
Luca Cazal and Ali Love later joined Jamie Jones and Lee Foss to form the live act Hot Natured, who along with Anabel Englund released a string of hits including "Benediction" and "Reverse Skydiving". [6] They sold out their debut gig live at Brixton Academy and were the first electronic music act to do so since Leftfield in 1996. [7] Their debut album Different Sides of the Sun was released in 2013 via Warner Bros. Records and Hot Creations. [6] Singles "Benediction" and "Reverse Skydiving" both charted with the former reaching number 40 on the UK Singles Chart and the latter reaching number 56. [8]
In 2016, Infinity Ink launched their live show, debuting at 'Elrow Presents Hot Creations' at The Rainbow Venues in Birmingham. The performance incorporated live vocals from Ali Love whilst Luca programmed the drum machines and DJs. [9] The performance at The Rainbow Venues was the start of a full tour spanning the summer festival season. [10]
Infinity Ink originally signed to Different Recordings, the electronic imprint of PIAS, for their debut album but instead released four singles with them before parting ways. [11] 2019 has seen the pair sign to Cooltempo, the recently revived dance label owned by Chrysalis Records [12] with plans to release the debut album originally planned for 2016. "Rushing Back" is the first single from the album and features vocals from singer/songwriter and Rinse FM host, Yasmin. [13]
Cooltempo, the dance music imprint of Chrysalis Records, was revived in May 2018. The label released albums by artists such as Kenny Thomas, Milli Vanilli, Adeva, Shara Nelson, Mica Paris and Innocence.
Aly & AJ is an American pop rock duo consisting of sisters Aly Michalka and AJ Michalka from Torrance, California. They signed with Hollywood Records and in 2005, they released their debut album Into the Rush. The album was certified Gold by the RIAA and contained the singles "Rush" and "Chemicals React". They followed this release with the albums Acoustic Hearts of Winter (2006) and Insomniatic (2007). The latter contained the Platinum single "Potential Breakup Song", which was a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot 100.

The act's debut album La Roux (2009) was a critical and commercial success, winning a Grammy Award and producing hit singles such as "In for the Kill" and "Bulletproof". Recording of a follow-up album was marred by unsuccessful collaborations, the cancellation of two planned release dates, and reported conflict between the duo.

24/Seven is the third studio album by American boy band Big Time Rush, released on June 7, 2013, by Columbia Records. The album experiments with a dance-rock and R&B sound. The band worked with producers Matt Squire and Damon Sharpe, as they had done in the past, in an effort to mature their sound yet not stray away from their prior qualities. The four members co-wrote 13 songs with several hired songwriters. It is the last album to be released by the band before going on a long term hiatus in 2014, until they reunited in 2021.
