Signetics Corporation was an American electronics manufacturer specifically established to make integrated circuits. Founded in 1961, they went on to develop a number of early microprocessors and support chips, as well as the widely used 555 timer chip. The company was bought by Philips in 1975 and incorporated in Philips Semiconductors.
The Sharp Wizard is a series of electronic organizers released by Sharp Corporation. The first model was the OZ-7000 released in 1989, making it one of the first electronic organizers to be sold. The name OZ-7000 was used for the USA market, while in Europe the device was known as the IQ-7000.

Mindphaser is a sampler or "best of" album of songs previously released by Klaus Schulze. It was issued by Brain Records in Germany in 1981, three years after Schulze had moved on and created his own label, Innovative Communications. The second track, "Mindphaser", was actually an excerpt of "Floating" from Moondawn. The other tracks were from LPs which were not made available in the United States for years. The album's cover art and layout copied the style of recent IC releases. As a result, many Americans thought the album was a new solo effort with original material.

Presidency University, Bangladesh is a private university with two campuses, in Gulshan and Baridhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Presidency University has three schools containing four departments with a strong emphasis on research-based education. The Gulshan campus was established in 2003. In 2008, the university opened a second campus in nearby Banani, Dhaka to cater to the growing number of students. Two new campus added in 2020 at Baridhara, Dhaka. George Kozmetsky was an American technology innovator, businessman, educator, author and philanthropist. He co-founded Teledyne Inc. and was the dean of The University of Texas College of Business Administration for 16 years. In 1977 Kozmetsky founded the IC² Institute, a think tank charged with researching the intersection of business, government and education. In 1993 he received the National Medal of Technology Award from President Bill Clinton.
