Ready-to-wear or prêt-à-porter is the term for factory-made clothing, sold in finished condition in standardized sizes, as distinct from made to measure or bespoke clothing tailored to a particular person's frame. Off-the-peg is sometimes used for items other than clothing such as handbags.
The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) is an international space advocacy organisation based in Paris, and founded in 1951 as a non-governmental organization to establish a dialogue between scientists around the world and to lay the information for international space cooperation. It has over 340 members from 68 countries across the world. They are drawn from space agencies, companies, universities, professional associations, government organizations and learned societies. It is linked with the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and the International Institute of Space Law (IISL) with whom the IAF organises the annual International Astronautical Congress (IAC).
The Indian Air Force (IAF) is the air arm of the Indian Armed Forces. Its complement of personnel and aircraft assets ranks fourth amongst the air forces of the world. Its primary mission is to secure Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare during armed conflict. It was officially established on 8 October 1932 as an auxiliary air force of the British Empire which honoured India's aviation service during World War II with the prefix Royal. After India gained independence from the United Kingdom in 1947, the name Royal Indian Air Force was kept and served in the name of Dominion of India. With the government's transition to a Republic in 1950, the prefix Royal was removed after only three years.
Bagdogra Airport, is an international airport located about 16 km (9.9 mi) west of the city of Siliguri, 45 km (28 mi) away from Jalpaiguri and 65 km (40 mi) away from Darjeeling, the cities which the airport mainly serves, at Bagdogra in Darjeeling district in northern West Bengal, India. It is operated as a civil enclave at AFS Bagdogra of the Indian Air Force. It is also the gateway airport to the hill stations of Kurseong and Kalimpong and other parts of the North Bengal region and sees thousands of tourists annually. The airport is a major transport hub in the region with flights connecting Kolkata, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Guwahati and has international connectivity with Kathmandu, Paro, and Bangkok. The airport also has regular helicopter flights to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim. The central government of India conferred customs airport status to the airport in 2002 with limited international operations. Air traffic at Bagdogra crossed 1 million for the first time growing at 43.6% percent in 2014-15. This is one of the few airports in India with zero sales tax on aviation turbine fuel.
Charles-André "Chuck" Comeau is a Canadian musician and drummer, best known for being the drummer of the rock band Simple Plan. He also founded the apparel company Role Model Clothing along with his bandmate Pierre Bouvier and the band's best friend, Patrick Langlois. He is also former drummer for the punk rock band Reset from 1993 to 1999, which he quit to form Simple Plan with his Reset bandmate who also left Reset, Pierre Bouvier.

Yakira, L.L.C., doing business as Ecko Unlimited, is an American urban fashion company founded by Marc Ecko in 1993. The company makes apparel and accessories under brands including the men's Ecko Unltd. line and the Ecko Red line for girls and women. It is headquartered in South River, New Jersey. The company's products have been popular since the late 1990s; they were originally associated with hip-hop and skating culture, and moved into the mainstream urban culture in the early 2000s. It is most often associated with hip hop. The style is based on graffiti art. Its brand features a rhino as its logo.

It was founded in 1994 in the United States and is now a global organization with seven regions – Africa, Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, Oceania, and the United States – which holds annual regional conferences and publishes a research journal and newsletters. In 2011, IAF began creating local chapters. The organization is led by a board of directors elected annually and representing all IAF regions.
Clothing industry or garment industry summarizes the types of trade and industry along the production and life chain of clothing and garments, starting with the textile industry via fashion industry to fashion retailers up to trade with second-hand clothes and textile recycling. Susan Margaret Watkins is a Cornell University professor emerita who founded the academic field of functional apparel design. She is the author of the seminal textbook in the field, Clothing: The Portable Environment (1984), and holds patents as a result of her collaborative research with the U.S. Army, the U.S. Air Force, firefighters associations, and other industrial partners. In 1991 Watkins was inducted as a Fellow into the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA), the highest honor awarded by the organization, for her contributions in shaping the field of functional apparel design.
Umut Oran is a Turkish textile manufacturer and a centre-left politician who currently serves as a Vice President of Socialist International since 13 December 2014. He served as a Member of Parliament for İstanbul's 3rd electoral district during the 24th Parliament of Turkey, lasting between 2011 and 2015. He is a member of the Republican People's Party (CHP), having formerly served as a Deputy Leader of the party and the President of the CHP Administrative and Financial Affairs Department. He served as the President of the International Apparel Federation between 2002 and 2003.
