The International Road Federation (IRF) is a membership-based organisation established in 1948, which represents businesses and organisations in the road and mobility sectors. Its mission is to promote the development of roads and road networks that enable access and sustainable mobility for all. Its approach is centred on key strategic components of knowledge transfer & information sharing, connecting people, businesses and organisations and policy & advocacy. [1] [2]

The Confederation of British Industry(CBI) is a UK business organization, which in total claims to speak for 190,000 businesses, this is made up of around 1,500 direct members and 188,500 non-members. The non members are represented through the 140 trade associations within the confederation, whose separate and individual memberships the CBI claims to also to speak for. Trade Association member companies, are not directly consulted or involved in CBI's policy formulation. The National Farmers' Union with its 55,000 members is the largest component of the 188,500 non-members the CBI claims to speak for. The Country Land and Business association brings another 30,000 non-members, the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed 20,000 non-members, the Freight Transport Association 13,000, the Federation of Master Builders 9,500, the Road Haulage Association 8,100 and the National Federation of Builders 1,400.

ADAC Largest motoring association in Europe

ADAC is Europe's largest motoring association. It would be more aptly described today as an individual mobility association since it looks more broadly at all transport options ensuring individual mobility. Its headquarters is located in Munich. The object of ADAC is “the representation, promotion and advocacy of motoring, motorsport and tourism interests.” Its original and most well-known service is roadside assistance. The club also offers other products and services – directly or through subsidiaries, distributes city maps, road maps and road atlases and operates several driver safety centres. It works together closely with its Austrian counterpart ÖAMTC. Via its charitable subsidiary ADAC Luftrettung gGmbH, ADAC operates the largest fleet of ambulance helicopters in Germany. The FIA Foundation for the Automobile and Society is a foundation which undertakes "[...] research into public policy issues relating to the automobile’s interaction with society. We support initiatives that improve the environmental performance of the car. Para-cycling classification is the process of classifying participants in para-cycling covering four functional disability types.
