Into the Night is the first and only studio album by South Korean punk rock band The Monotones. The album was released on 19 November 2015. [1] The album won the Best Rock Album at the 2016 Korean Music Awards. [2]

Background

The Monotones announced the recruitment of a vocalist after Kim Seyoung's sudden withdrawal, and a year later, Hoon Jo joined as a new vocalist. Since then, they have started recording their first studio album. [3] During the recording, Park Hyeonjoon left the band, and the band members described the period as a "Recording of hell." [4] [3]

Lee Sooho of IZM described the album as "It's an album that brought together great talents and produced excellent Garage punk opus." [5] The member of the selection committee for the Korean Music Awards Lee Kyeongjoon reviewed "Into the Night is a clever record that explores the past with agility but never misses modernity." [2]
