Into The Presence was an American alternative rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, founded in 2008. The band was fronted by Luis Carlos Maldonado (guitar/vocals) and featured Ana Lenchantin (cello/keyboards), Tim Alexander (drums), with Paz Lenchantin (bass, album only).

Maldonado had gained notoriety as guitarist/side musician with Glenn Hughes, Michael Schenker, UFO, John Waite, Pat Monahan And most recently Train, Bigelf, and Lisa Marie Presley [1] also as a session musician for Shrapnel Records, as well as being a prolific songwriter.

Initially the band featured Tim Alexander, best known as the drummer for Primus and A Perfect Circle.

During the recording of the debut album Tim brought in cellist Ana Lenchantin, whose credits include Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Gnarls Barkley, No Doubt, Rihanna, Kesha, Arthur Lee and Love, Eels and her sister, Paz Lenchantin who had been a member of A Perfect Circle and Zwan and is a current member of the Pixies.

The self-titled album was first released in 2009 after being signed by Michael Caplan on Razor & Tie [2] and received favorable reviews from critics. [3] Following the release they toured nationally, opening up for groups such as Vast and Puscifer, along with many other artists [4] soon after which Alexander left the band. [5]

With Luis and Ana remaining the core members, the band saw some personnel changes. They hired San Diego native Morgan Young (drums) and used several bassists while the band toured the US extensively. [6]

The new line-up, with Young on drums and Devin Hoffman (bass) was complete in early 2011. The band had been working on new material, and were set to record the follow-up in late 2012. [5] They had signed to Bieler Brothers, [7] with a re-release of the debut album planned in 2012. For the new album, they had recorded many tracks at Sonic Ranch studios with Kyle Moorman engineering. The mixing of the album was completed by the late Stephen Stewart Short. Unfortunately more personnel changes along with Luis Maldonado , as well as Ana Lenchantin needing to tour with other artists, brought the group to a halt. The second album was completed but never found its way to a proper release.

Thirteenth Step is the second studio album by American rock band A Perfect Circle, released on September 16, 2003. The album sold well, charting at the number 2 position on the Billboard 200 in its premiere week, selling over 231,000 copies and staying on the charts for 78 weeks. The album went on to be certified as gold on November 4, 2003, and as platinum on March 24, 2006, by the RIAA. Three singles were released from the album, "Weak and Powerless", which topped both the Mainstream Rock Tracks and Modern Rock Tracks, followed by "The Outsider" and "Blue", which also charted on the respective charts.

Keep Telling Myself It's Alright is the debut studio album by American rock band Ashes Divide, the solo-project by A Perfect Circle guitarist Billy Howerdel. While efforts towards a Howerdel solo album were started even back in his time in A Perfect Circle during touring in support of their 2003 album Thirteenth Step, commitments to A Perfect Circle and other projects, along with some difficult recording sessions, pushed the album's US release out to April 8, 2008. It was released in Australia on April 19. Its first single, "The Stone", entered radio circulation in January of that year.

The discography of American alternative rock supergroup A Perfect Circle consists of four studio albums, two compilation albums, one extended play, one video album, thirteen singles, one promotional single and thirteen music videos. A Perfect Circle is the brainchild of Billy Howerdel. After hearing demos of Howerdel's music, Maynard James Keenan, the lead singer of Tool, offered his services as vocalist. Howerdel agreed, and the band formed in 1999. They were then joined by bassist/violinist Paz Lenchantin, guitarist Troy Van Leeuwen, formerly of Failure, and drummer Tim Alexander, formerly of Primus. Soon after entering the studio to record their first album, Alexander was replaced by Josh Freese of The Vandals. Mer de Noms was released in May 2000, selling 188,000 copies its debut week. The band embarked on a number of headlining tours all over the world to promote the album which was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) one month after its release, and platinum just four months later.

Revenge of the Triads (R.O.T.T.) was a short-lived musical project/supergroup from Los Angeles, California. The band was formed in December 2001 by Charlie Clouser, Jason Slater and Troy Van Leeuwen. Almost one year after forming, the band broke up due to conflicts with their record label and the members collectively losing interest in the project. Revenge of the Triads never released any material during their existence, and their debut album remains unfinished and unreleased.
