The Woodone Open Hiroshima was a professional golf tournament in Japan. Founded in 1972 as the Hiroshima Open, it was an event on the Japan Golf Tour from 1973 to 2007. Except for the 1997 tournament, which was held at Yonex Country Club in Niigata Prefecture, and the 1980 tournament, which was held at Kam Country Club in Ichihara, Chiba, it was played at Hiroshima Country Club near Higashihiroshima in Hiroshima Prefecture.

The Yomiuri Open was a professional golf tournament on the Japan Golf Tour. Founded in 1970 as the Wizard Tournament, a 36-hole invitational tournament, it was played at Hashimoto Country Club in Wakayama until 1979 when it moved to Yomiuri Country Club in Hyōgo. With the move, it also became a full 72-hole tour event, having been extended to 54 holes in 1976, and adopted its new name. It remained at Yomiuri every year except for 1996, when it was played at Wakasu Golf Links in Tokyo. In 2007 it merged with the Mizuno Open to form the Gateway to the Open Mizuno Open Yomiuri Classic.

The KSB Open was a professional golf tournament that was held in Japan. Founded as the KSB Kagawa Open in 1981, it was an event on the Japan Golf Tour in 1983 and again from 1989. It was played until 1999, after which it was merged with the Descente Classic to create the Munsingwear Open KSB Cup.

The Shizuoka Open was a professional golf tournament that was held in Japan. Founded in 1972, it was an event on the Japan Golf Tour from 1974. It was last played in 2002 having been dropped from the 2003 tour schedule for economic reasons. It was played over the Hamaoka Course at Shizuoka Country Club near Omaezaki in Shizuoka Prefecture.

The Maruman Open was a professional golf tournament that was held in Japan. Founded in 1980 as the Descente Cup Hokkoku Open, it was an event on the Japan Golf Tour until 1994, except for 1984 when it was held without a title sponsor. It was hosted at several different courses.

The Ube Kosan Open was a professional golf tournament that was held in Japan from 1972 until 2001. It was played at the Ube 72 Country Club near Ube, Yamaguchi. It was an event on the Japan Golf Tour.

The South African Masters was one of the most prestigious golf tournaments on the Sunshine Tour. It was last played in 2011. Before its discontinuation, it had a prize fund of 1.2 million rand and was held at the Wild Coast Sun Country Club on the KwaZulu-Natal border, South Africa.

The Thailand Open is the national golf open of Thailand.

The Barcelona Open was a professional golf tournament that was held in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Founded as the Sanyo Open in 1981, it was an event on the European Tour from 1982 until 1988, after which it was replaced on the tour schedule by the Catalan Open. For the first two editions it was played at Club de Golf Sant Cugat, and thereafter at Real Club de Golf El Prat.

The Kuzuha International was a professional golf tournament in Japan between 1965 and 1990. It was played at the Kuzuha Public Golf Course in Kuzuha, Hirakata, Osaka. From 1978 to 1983, it was a Japan Golf Tour event.
