Iordanis Konstantinidis (born 10 June 1998) is a German taekwondo athlete. He is the 2019 world bronze medallist in the 63 kg weight category.
Iordanis Konstantinidis began practicing taekwondo at the age of seven after discovering the sport through martial arts films. [2] He began training in Dachau alongside fellow national team member Ela Aydin and first represented the German national team in a continental competition at the 2013 European Junior Championships in Porto. [3]
In the years following, Konstantinidis took part in international G-ranked competitions as well as the 2014 World Juniors Taekwondo Championships and the 2015 European U21 Championships.
In 2015, he won his first major medal at the international stage, a bronze at the European Junior Taekwondo Championships in Daugavpils. In 2017, Konstantinidis won another bronze medal at the European U21 Championships in Sofia. [4]
Konstantinidis started competing at the senior level in 2017, when he participated in the World Championships in Muju. The following year, he won a silver medal at the 2018 Multi European Games in Plodiv.
At the 2019 World Championships in Manchester, he beat Dominican athlete Bernardo Pié 12 to 9 in the quarter-finals and lost to China's Zhao Shuai 8 to 10 in the semi-finals to win a bronze medal in the men's 63 kg competition. [5]
Konstantinidis took part in the 2021 and 2022 European Championships. In 2022, he won the gold medal at the Multi European Games held in Sofia. Konstantinidis participated in the 2023 World Championships in Baku, he won his latest international medal - a bronze - at the 2023 Albanian Open in Tirana. [6]
Konstantinidis joined the sports promotion group of the Bundeswehr (German: Sportfördergruppe der Bundeswehr) and has since been a Soldier-Athlete (German: Sportsoldat). [3]
Natália Falavigna da Silva is a taekwondo athlete from Brazil. She finished in the fourth place in the women's 67-kilogram category in taekwondo at the 2004 Summer Olympics on August 26, and won the bronze medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. It was the first Brazilian Olympic medal ever in taekwondo.
Aaron Arthur Cook is a taekwondo athlete who has represented Great Britain, the Isle of Man, and Moldova. He has been ranked the number one in the men's −80 kg division on several occasions. He is a three-time European champion having won the −80 kg title at the European Taekwondo Championships in 2010, 2012 representing Great Britain and 2014 representing the Isle of Man, and was the world junior champion in the −78 kg division in 2008.
The European Taekwondo Championships are the European senior championships in Taekwondo, first held in Barcelona in 1976. The event is held every two years and is organized by the European Taekwondo Union, the continental affiliate of World Taekwondo, which organises and controls Olympic style taekwondo. An additional event, the G4 Extra European Taekwondo Championships were exceptionally held in 2019.
Jade Louise Jones is a Welsh taekwondo athlete. She is the 2012 and 2016 Olympic gold medallist in the women's 57 kg category, and the 2019 World champion, 2016, 2018 and 2021 European champion and both 2015 European Games and 2023 European Games champion at the same weight, the only two-time gold medalist at her weight in the history of those Games. In 2012, she won Britain's first taekwondo Olympic gold medal. Jones was at the time the reigning Youth Olympic champion in the girls' 55 kg category, winning gold for Great Britain in 2010.
Zeliha Ağrıs is a Turkish taekwondo practitioner who became a world champion in the bantamweight category in 2017.
Hatice Kübra İlgün is a Turkish taekwondo practitioner. She has won a silver medal at the 2017 World Taekwondo Championships in the featherweight division.

Edival Marques Quirino Pontes also known as Netinho is a Brazilian taekwondo athlete. He won the silver medal in the men's lightweight event at the 2022 World Taekwondo Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico. He won a gold medal at the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in the under 63 kg weight category.
Hakan Reçber is a Turkish taekwondo athlete. He won the gold medal in the men's bantamweight event at the 2023 World Taekwondo Championships held in Baku, Azerbaijan. He is an Olympic bronze medalist in the Men's 68 kg competition. He won the gold medal at the 2021 European Taekwondo Championships and 2022 European Taekwondo Championships on the bantamweight (−63 kg) category.
Gili Liel Haimovitz is an Israeli taekwondo fighter. In 2009 he won the gold medal in the -45 kg category at the European Taekwondo Junior Championships, and at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games he won a gold medal in the under-48-kilogram event.

Avishag Semberg is an Israeli taekwondo athlete. She was an Olympic bronze medalist for Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the women's 49 kg competition. She won Israel's all-time tenth Olympic medal, and is the youngest Israeli to receive an Olympic medal, at the age of 19.
Dejan Georgievski is a Macedonian professional taekwondo practitioner who represents North Macedonia internationally in the World Taekwondo Tournaments in the men's heavyweight class. He is an Olympic silver medalist in the men's +80 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
