Iordanka Andonova (born 2 February 1988) is a former Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. [1] She's the 2005 world champion with 5 ribbons.
Born in Pazardzhik, Iordanka started practicing rhythmic gymnastics at the Dilyana Club with first coach Ditka Stoilova. In 2000 she moved to the Levski club, where she trained under Neshka Robeva, Elizabeth Koleva, Lushka Bachvarova and Kamelia Dunavska. [2]
She entered the national team in 2002 competing as an individual. In 2005 she was incorporated into the national senior group, at the World Championships in Baku the group, made of Iordanka, Eleonora Kezhova, Zornitsa Marinova, Kristina Ranguelova, Joanna Tancheva and Tatiana Tongova, was 4th in the All-Around and with 3 clubs & 2 hoops and won gold with 5 ribbons. In 2013 Andonova established a rhythmic gymnastics club in Sofia called "Victoria". In 2019, the club organized its first international tournament "Viktoria Cup", which was attended by over 500 competitors from seven countries. [2]
XXVII World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships were held in Baku the capital of Azerbaijan, 3–10 October 2005 at the Heydar Aliyev Sports and Exhibition Complex.
Anelia Ralenkova became one of Bulgaria's most distinctive rhythmic gymnasts. She is one of the "Golden Girls" of Bulgaria that dominated rhythmic gymnastics in the 1980s.
Kristina Rangelova-Yankova is a Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. Olympic medalist 2004 Athens, World Champion 2005 Baku and Europe Champion 2003 Riesa. She has a master's degree in sports management and bachelor's degree in rhythmic gymnastics.
Reneta Petrova Kamberova is a Bulgarian Group rhythmic gymnast. She was part of the Bulgarian group that won bronze in group all-around at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She also won all-around gold at the 2014 World Championships in Group, as well as silver all-around at the 2015 World Championships and all-around bronze at the 2011 World Championships.
Mihaela Maevska is a Bulgarian Group rhythmic gymnast. She was part of the Bulgarian group that won bronze in group all-around at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She also won all-around gold at the 2014 World Championships in Group, as well as silver all-around at the 2015 World Championships and all-around bronze at the 2011 World Championships.

Boryana Nikolaeva Kaleyn is a Bulgarian retired individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2024 Paris Olympic all-around silver medalist. She is the 2023 European all-around champion, the 2024 European champion with hoop, the 2021 and 2022 European all-around silver medalist, and the 2022 European champion with ball, ribbon, and in the team competition. Kaleyn is also the 2023 World Team all-around champion and the 2022 World Cup Series all-around champion in Sofia and runner-up in Baku. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth in the all-around.
Lala Dmitrievna Kramarenko is a Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2019 junior world champion in ball and clubs and the 2018 European junior champion in ball and ribbon. At the 2021 European Championships, she won team gold. She is also a three-time junior national all around champion (2017-2019) and a two-time national all-around silver medalist (2020-2021).
Milena Baldassarri is an Italian former individual rhythmic gymnast. She won silver in the ribbon final at the 2018 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, becoming the first Italian individual gymnast to win a silver medal in the World Championships. She also is the bronze medalist in the ball final at the 2022 Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships, as well as a four-time Team medalist in the World Championships. She competed in the individual all-around at the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics, finishing within a top 8 position at both games.
Sofia Raffaeli is an Italian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2024 Olympic bronze medalist, 2022 World all-around, hoop, ball, ribbon and team champion, the 2023 World all-around, hoop and ball silver medalist, the 2023 European silver all-around medalist, and the 2024 European all-around silver medalist. She is the first Italian individual rhythmic gymnast to win a gold medal at the World Championships, European Championships and World Games, and she has won seven all-around gold medals in the FIG World Cup circuit. She is the first Italian individual rhythmic gymnast to win a medal at the Olympic Games.
Viktoriia Maksimivna Onopriienko is a Ukrainian individual rhythmic gymnast. She competed at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, finishing tenth in the all-around final. She is the bronze medalist in clubs at the 2023 World Championships and the hoop champion at the 2023 European Championships. Onopriienko is also the 2020 Grand Prix Final all-around champion and the 2022 World Games ribbon bronze medalist. At the junior level, she is the 2018 European team silver medalist.
Diana Artemivna Baieva is a Ukrainian group rhythmic gymnast. She won a bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships in 3 ribbons and 2 balls. She won two gold medals, a silver medal, and a bronze medal at the 2020 European Championships. She also won a silver medal at the 2023 European Championships and a bronze medal at the 2024 European Championships. She represented Ukraine at the 2024 Summer Olympics and finished seventh in the group all-around.
Stiliana Nikolova is a Bulgarian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2024 European all-around champion, the 2022 World all-around bronze medalist and hoop, clubs, and ribbon silver medalist, the 2023 World ball bronze medalist and team competition champion, and a two-time European all-around bronze medalist and champion in the team competition. At the national level, she is a two-time national champion and the 2022 national all-around silver medalist. She competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics, where she came in 11th place.
Mariia Olehivna Vysochanska is a Ukrainian retired rhythmic gymnast. She represented Ukraine at the 2020 and 2024 Summer Olympics in the group all-around. She won a bronze medal at the 2023 World Championships in 3 ribbons and 2 balls. She won two gold medals, a silver medal, and a bronze medal at the 2020 European Championships. She also won a silver medal at the 2023 European Championships and a bronze medal at the 2024 European Championships.
Siyana Vasileva is a retired Azerbaijani group rhythmic gymnast from Bulgaria. She is the 2014 European 3 Balls + 2 Ribbons silver and the 2018 European 3 Balls + 2 Ropes bronze medalist.
Rachel Stoyanov is a retired Bulgarian rhythmic gymnast. She formerly represented North Macedonia in individual competition until 2021, when she joined the Bulgarian group.
