Irasto Knights (born September 17, 1978) is a former Trinidadian footballer who played for the national team and played the majority of his career in North America particularly in the USL A-League.
Knights began his career in his native country with Caledonia AIA, where he had a tremendous rookie season scoring 13 goals. That same year due to his success with his domestic club he was called up to the national team to complete in the 1998 Caribbean Cup. The following year he went abroad to the United States and signed with the Raleigh Capital Express of the USL A-League where he continued his success by scoring six goals in 21 matches. [1] In 2000, he signed with the Long Island Rough Riders where he managed to claim some silverware by clinching the Northeast Conference. In the postseason the club reached the conference quarterfinals, but lost to the Toronto Lynx.
The next year he had a stint with the Connecticut Wolves, and in 2002 he went to Canada to play with the Toronto Lynx. His signing was announced in a press conference which announced the 2002 team roster. [2] He made his debut for the club on April 20, 2002 in a match against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, where he recorded an assist in a 2-1 loss. [3] He featured in an exhibition match against TSV Munich 1860 where he scored the historic winning goal in a 1-0 victory over a Bundesliga club. [4] Throuogout the year the Lynx finished in second place in the inaugural Voyageurs Cup, losing to the Montreal Impact. The Lynx struggled early on in the season but then went on six game undefeated streak at home, and only needed one win on the final game of the season to make the playoffs; but the team tied with Atlanta Silverbacks allowing the Charlotte Eagles to clinch the final playoff berth. [5] In 2003, he went to South America to sign with Peruvian side Alianza Atlético where he appeared in 3 matches. [6]
Knights played for the Trinidad and Tobago national football team in 1998, where he featured in the 1998 Caribbean Cup. In the tournament he scored six goals in wins over Antigua and Barbuda and Dominica in the group stage, respectively, and two more goals in the 4-1 win to Haiti in the semifinals.

He is the former head coach of the Masters FA League 1 team after winning a championship in 2019, and University of Toronto Mississauga soccer team. Born with Indigenous ancestry, he announced he will be changing his name to Netshetep Ma'at, which is an Ancient Egyptian Order name as well as Songan Ohitekha Tawa El, an Indigenous Appellation name.
SC Toronto was a Canadian soccer team, founded in 1994. The team was a member of the Canadian Soccer League, and played its final home games at Lamport Stadium in the city of Toronto, Ontario. The club found success early on since its inception as the Toronto Supra in the Canadian National Soccer League, making the postseason in 1996, and the championship finals in 1997. With the creation of the Canadian Professional Soccer League in 1998, Toronto missed out in registering for the league which resulted in the club completing in local amateur leagues. Supra would eventually return to the professional level in 2001, entering the CPSL as an expansion franchise.

The 2002 Canadian Professional Soccer League season was the fifth season for the Canadian Professional Soccer League. The season began on May 23, 2002, and concluded on October 20, 2002, with Ottawa Wizards becoming the first expansion franchise to win the CPSL Championship by defeating the North York Astros 2–0. For the first time the final was hosted at Esther Shiner Stadium, which granted the hosts the North York Astros a wildcard match. As the league was divided into the Eastern and Western Conferences the Wizards clinched the Eastern title, while Toronto Croatia won the Western Conference. The expansion of the league saw the return of professional soccer to Hamilton, and the addition of another Toronto franchise. On February 26, 2002, the CPSL signed a player agreement deal with the Toronto Lynx of the USL A-League, which provided the Lynx access in order to use CPSL talent and provide players an opportunity to play at a higher level.
