Iron City Blues is an independent documentary which chronicles the creation of a blues song about the town of Iron City, Tennessee. [1]
Iron City Blues follows biker/bluesman Big Mike Griffin as he journeys to the rural town of Iron City, Tennessee in order to create a blues song based on its legendary status as a lawless town. [2] While en route to Iron City, Big Mike Griffin is joined by his friend Jason Neese, a former U.S. Marine, who has been to Iron City in the past and agrees to serve as his guide. The two men ride through Tennessee's backwoods into Iron City where Big Mike interviews a wide assortment of area residents including the town's mayor, one of the town's former police officers, and a group of local lawnmower racers. Their visit concludes with an interview by campfire light with moonshiner "Monkey Tidwell". [3]
The documentary then follows Big Mike Griffin into the Switchyard Recording Studio where he records the song "Iron City" along with musicians Bob Babbitt, Miranda Louise, Johnny Bird and James "Fish" Michie. [4]
The film's finale features a live concert where Big Mike Griffin and his band debut the song "Iron City" to a crowd which includes a number of Iron City residents who were interviewed in the film. [5] [6] [7] [8]
Iron City is a census-designated place and former city in Lawrence and Wayne counties, Tennessee. The population was 167 at the 2010 census.

Pentagram is an American heavy metal band from Alexandria, Virginia, most famous as one of the pioneers of heavy metal, and the sub-genre of doom metal in particular. As such, they are considered one of the "big four of doom metal," alongside Candlemass, Saint Vitus and Trouble. The band was prolific in the underground scene of the 1970s, producing many demos and rehearsal tapes, but did not release a full-length album until re-forming in the early 1980s with an almost completely new line-up. Throughout the band's history, the only constant member has been vocalist Bobby Liebling. The revolving line-up of Pentagram has featured many well-respected musicians in the local doom metal scene, with members spending time in other acts such as the Obsessed, Place of Skulls, Internal Void, Spirit Caravan, among many others. The band's current line-up consists of Liebling (vocals), Matt Goldsborough (guitar), Greg Turley (bass), and "Minnesota" Pete Campbell (drums).

Move Me Brightly is a music documentary film. It contains live performances of Grateful Dead songs from a 2012 concert by Bob Weir and a number of other musicians, called "Move Me Brightly: Celebrating Jerry Garcia's 70th Birthday". The film also includes interviews with some of the performers, other musicians, and members of the Grateful Dead extended family. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray in 2013.
